Rich have you tried lifting for time? Give that a shot, that **** is awesome. You just knock out as many reps as possible in a given time period.

I do some floor presses with the sandbags to hit the chest, in addition to pushups. I think you should make a slam ball.

I've started eating 6 eggs a day now and cutting out a meal replacement drink as I think they're way too high in carbs. Eventually I phase them out completely

How do you eat the eggs? and do you eat them on theyre own?

Personally id get too sickly from them.
 
I just ate 4 eggs, spinach, tomatoes, and 4 strips turkey bacon. Now Im going to eat my finisher: cottage cheese, sugar free dark choc pudding, cool whip.

I decided to forego my workout this morning to work on my website. I knew I was meeting a coworker to do some biking after work so I didnt think it would hurt. I got a good amount done on the site.

As for the bike ride, we did 7 1/2 miles in 42 minutes. Basically I was holding him back at a slower pace. I havent rode in who knows how long. I had a heavy mountain bike, he had a nice road bike. It was good nonetheless.

Tomorrow Im off from work so I am going to get up early and workout. Then when my son naps I am gonna do more work to my website. My wife says, "Its your day off, why dont you sleep in weirdo?" lol

2x8 heavy (weight)
2x15 medium

Chest flys
3x10 Fairly heavy

Bicep curls
2x10 heavy
8x heavy

Overhead tricep extensions
3x12 fairly heavy

Front raises
3x10 as heavy as I could go

I'm gonna have to find out how much my sand weighs, I have no money until payday this weekend so can't buy scales yet. It's a bank holiday though so I can get some good eating in and have a bumper training day on Monday, like a 2 hour FBW or something

Tony was thinking of us having some kind of challange to spice up the thread a bit so keep reading to find out what it might be, I'm gonna kick his ass :D

On a positive note, I watched Britains strongest man on TV yesterday and for the first time I was thinking 'That's not impossible, I could probably do that in a couple of years'. I'd need to get up to abou 130 kg though by the look of it

Hit the gym again this lunchtime to do some deads, I don't think I've found a way of hitting my spinal erectors well enough with sandbags yet so didn't want to start getting a weak back

I didn't focus too much on rep ranges but did 3 sets of quite a few at 220lbs at a pretty fast pace. I'm trying to get a little more speed into my concentric phases

I weighed in at 229lbs which I'm pretty pleased with, I hadn't gained weight in ages, hopefully now I've pushed past 227 I can move quickly onto 240

Clean to Squat to OHP 3x30 sec

Inverted Row 3x30s

Bag Goodmorning 2x30s
ss
Jump Rope 2x30s

These were all done 1 after the other in the tri and bi sets. Then 30 seconds of rest before starting again.
 
I'm gonna try some of this over the weekend, I'm gonna put my own little challenge together for you. I really need a keg!!!

BTW, is it just me or is this guys DB snatch form really ****?
Why doesn't he go into a proper squat?
 
I dunno but that's some beastly stuff. Those ab rollouts with 3 vests on!? I never knew how ridiculous those were until I tried for myself.

Who really goes into a full squat except competitors? I sure as **** dont, especially on a dumbell snatch. Um what of that are you going to try? All you have is a sandbox right? lol
