Typhon & TonyM: No Rules!

I tend to be pretty disorganized with the bag training, I laid off for a couple of days after pulling the muscle in my neck. It seemed to be OK yesterday so I lifted again but mainly concentrated on

a) OH presses
b) Single leg squats

I did some single arm rows and biceps curls too but right now I pretty much want to focus on my vertical movements

I'm having real trouble eating at the moment, feeling sick a lot of the time, I think it's sleep deprivation from Ben waking up through the night but I've gone about a week now without eating breakfast

I'm gonna take more pictures of my training very soon, my girlfriend and kids are away tonight so if I can work out how to use the timer on the camera I'll take some more pics

Do you wake up in the middle of the night to feed him?

You still havent worked out your shifts yet? I slept on the couch and then we swapped as soon as the little fella got on formula. Its so sweet now he is older and sleeps right through the night and wakes just after I get up in the morning.

Well if you wake up, then eat something. When I would wake up at night to feed my son, I would also eat. Even if it was just a yogurt, I ate something.

Just done a session of only isometric holds. about 5 sets each of press ups, supine rows and those squats you do against the wall that Tony told me about. I like Isometrics, I think I'll probably do a session a week of those from now on

At home alone tonight so should get lots of sleep

I was gonna take pictures tonight but Iso's are pretty boring to look at

The timed thing could be a good idea, I might try and do the 8 minute squat program I read on T-Nation a while back

I really love the TNT Diet plan. Ive been eating tons of meat and veggies. What else is there really? Today for preworkout I did have my first two slices of toast since I started. Then after workout I ate 2 pieces of french toast and 3 eggs/corn beef/spinach. Sunday breakfast with my son always includes french toast or pancakes when possible.

Where you at Rich?

Very, very busy at work so not much time for posting ;)

I wanted to get some chest work in as most of my sandbag training so far has been OH pressing, squats and snatches.
I bought way too many sandbags before so I made them into a bit of a bench to lie on and press so I did that last night.
I also used a dining chair to do dips
Rows were fairly straight forward (bent over and rowed)

I'm a bit worried that I haven't deadlifted heavy in quite a while, I'm finding that hard to do with my bags. I've done RDL's though so it's not all bad, I have had a hamstring pull and a groin strain to recover from though

And Tony, do you remember a while ago I hurt my left shoulder when it got pulled backwards doing a cable press? Well it still hurts when pressing. Any ideas what to do?

Is it anterior delt pain? I have a fairly extensive history of ant delt. injuries from swimming. It pretty much ended my sporting career.

Yeah, that's the right kind of area. It's not tendonitis and unless I'm lifting fairly heavy I can't feel it so I doubt it's a tear of any kind. I was thinking it could be bruising of some kind but I did this about a month ago now

Hmmm the specialist pretty much put mine down to overuse. He told me to do some rear delt exercises and anterior band extensions. It has worked a treat. I had to resit my swim test for surf a couple of weeks ago and I had no problems.

^^^^^ What kind of computer do you have?
