My sandbag training starts tomorrow :) Off the the hardware store first thing in the morning

Good times. I may write a post about all the funny stuff that happened, including my workout with a stump and tree branch lol.

Basically I lived on ice cream and diet soda for 11 days haha.

Anyways I will edit the first post in this thread with my info so its on the first page. I have a packed weekend, especially after finding out about 15 minutes ago. May check that out on Sunday.

Rich, look at your library and see if you can get the book Education of a Bodybuilder. It made me want to train again like crazy.

Also pm me your email again because I have something awesome for you to look at.
 
OK, I have all the sand now, I bought 7 large bags from the hardware store; no idea how much they weigh though, for some reason it doesn't say on them packaging. I'd estimate about 30-40kg though (it's difficult to judge an uneven weight compaired to a barbell)

First training session is tonight
 
Do you have some scales? Just stand on the scales holding them and then subtract your normal weight from that an woola you have how heavy they are.

No scales I'm afraid, I am going to have to find out how much they are though

First night of training today, I did another 3x20 squats at the gym at lunch time so did mainly upper stuff tonight. The plan I drew up went out the window though and i just improvised while I got used to using the bags

I went something like this; The way I've written it might seem a little disjointed but I did all this as one long set

20x Military press
15x clean and press
20x Military press
15x Clean and press
10x Tricep extension
8x high pull (each arm)
15x military press
8xhigh pull
10x tricep extension
6x high pull
8x military press
10x side raises

Edit: I remember doing some Zerchers too

This knocked me out. I left tining really late which was a problem, I'll start training earlier tomorrow and stick to my plan

Yeah, I will do, but I trained in the dark last night so it was a little hard and my girlfriend really couldn't care less about my training so she'll be unlikely to come out and take them

I'm it just a pic of equipment then it's just a bunch of sandbags right now in plastic packaging
 
OK, I've decided that from this point I'm getting my diet 100% nailed down.

That doesn't mean I'm cutting or anything, I'll still try and eat in a surplus but I just won't eat junk or sweets at all. I need to do this to keep my BF in check
 
Its a shame when people dont care about your training. Lucky you have us! Good luck with the diet. Im looking forward to some pics.

Edit - Hopefully you show your legs in them and not just your core, you have the guts to?
 
I did the high pulls and snatches tonight but training was cut short by a thunder storm

2) Any guy who can get the body he wants with that equipment is one of the most dedicated determined people I've ever met. Keep it up Typhon!
 
Education of a Bodybuilder - Arnold

Ive worked out with my sandbags twice now, dropped four pounds of water over the last 4 days as well. Ive been a bit away so Ill get this updated as quickly as possible.

Got to take of the other **** going on on the forum.
