Yep. Those are dragonflags. Anybody who can do those gets my respect ;)

I found balance harder than the actual move, reps were low and will stay that way until I become comfortable.

As for form, I think it's pretty good but might get my girlfriend to record me over the weekend so I can view it myself

I don’t have much to post for training today, I’ve been getting some back pains in the past few days, probably from terrible posture at work so I put the deads on hold and did some leg curls instead but I found squatting OK

I’m pretty pleased with my squatting progress, especially as I’m still losing weight, my legs are looking far more impressive while I squat at least :D They still look skinny but at least now you can pick out the different muscles as I lift, I love vanity
 
That's a very cool video, I like the windmill/squat/OH press. It's similar to what I'd been doing before but a lot more fluid in execution

I really need to step my sandbag training up a gear, I'll try and upload some more photos soon
 
I’m getting an old beer keg tonight so once I’ve worked out how to fill it with sand or water I’ll post up some more pictures of my training

Anyway, I think I made a bit of a breakthrough today, I started with squats 1x5 @ 198 to warm up and then 5x10@ 264 to stay with the high rep theme I’ve been running with my squats but trying a new rep range.
The breakthrough can with doing some single leg curls; I started by doing a couple of sets using both legs and then once they felt shattered I switched to single leg to finish them off. This is when I made the discovery; when my legs are fresh I have a pretty good strength balance between the two, and for single leg squats my legs are always identical in all areas but it seems that when my legs are tired my left leg is far, far stronger than my right. It’s so much stronger that I could probably manage about 30% extra load on the left hand side
I’m wondering now if that’s the reason my deadlifting progress stalled in such a huge way but my squatting is still improving at a good rate

From now on I’m adding single leg deads and curls at the end of every leg day to try and address the balance and doing 10 reps on the left and 12 on the right to try and get that right leg up to speed
 
Did you get the keg? I should be securing two 35lb kettlebells this week. A guy at work randomly started talking about exercise. He said someone on his delivery had given him 2 kbs for Christmas about 2 years ago but hasnt used them. I said I'd buy them.

Typical though that he said he wants to lose weight so he is concentrating on upper body because he bikes and walks at work.

Just a lot of other **** to deal with; close to losing my job again I think, but also close to becoming a Director of a new company so my nerves are on edge a little

Also, the forum kinda sucks lately so not enjoying posting here so much right now

Here she is, the landlord gave me an old fashioned one with corks so it would be easy to fill. It already seems pretty heavy though, I'll have to get it weighed
