OH CRUD...My husband told me to wait until this evening to sign-in(it is $10 a day to use the internet at Disney). I might have to shoot him. I am so sorry if this weigh-in doesn't count. I am hoping it does and I don't get kicked off. I am so dedicated to these challenges. Please don't get rid of me:cry:
I lot 1.6 this week. Stayed within my bonus guidelines on all but one day. On the drive up we had fast food. Frankly it was gross and I didn't feel goodabout it, but I didn't want to have a side salad. Everyone did great this week. Good job! I will be here for the next 24 hours and then probably not until next Friday morning unless I can find free wi-fi somewhere.

You're fine--you have until midnight EST to update, so no worries. Have fun at Disney. I can't believe they charge you for internet as much $$ as they make! The hotel I stayed in the other week did the same thing. Bastards..lol.

I'm sorry to say that the people whose names appear in blue have been eliminated. There will be a separate thread for them to join if they wish. Just copy and paste your stat post there, and you can continue to play and update weekly. Also, please delete your stat post here once you do that. Just type "eliminated" in it, as there is a minimum number of characters that you need to leave. At the end of the challenge, I'll total up the pts in the eliminated thread, and the person with the most pts will win that. So you still have something to work for. Don't give your weight loss goals. You can reach them if you keep at it. :)

I am glad I got in on time, but it is so sad to see our teammates leave. Good luck MyOwn, Auburn and Loseit. I better start busting my butt because I am to close to the bottom of the list.

Just to show you how close the teams really are, when I adjust the pts for the people who were eliminated, you can see that there are less than 12pts separating each team. The first number is this week's pts. The second number subtracts the eliminated people's pts for the Red and Blue teams, and averages the pts for the Black team.

Red Total 563.1 497.4
Blue Total 634.8 520.1

Howdee TEAM BLUE! Hope everyone is having a Fiberlicious day!!!:smilielol5:

Had to work today, but did well not eating the DUnkin DOnuts breakfast the boss brought in. Came home after my haircut and did about an hour's worth of yard work(a few weeks ago a storm torn down about 30+ long, heavy pine branches), as it was relatively warm out.

Came in and enjoyed a BIG bowl of airpopped popcorn (with spray butter) which brought my fiber to over 21 grams, and I have yet to eat dinner!
Gotta love the popcorn for this bonus challenge!

We are headed to a Japanese SteakHouse to celebrate my daughters 12th birthday. We have never been, but hear its a blast! Will be fun to sort out the foods eaten in my online journal later.:eek:

Hey guys,

Hope everyone had a good weekend. I just finished 80 minutes on the bike. That puts me at 240 minutes of exercise so far this week. Only one more hour to go to get the maximum amount of exercise points which I'll do tomorrow. Getting enough fiber in isn't a problem for me either so I should get all those points for us too. Hopefully we'll finish ontop this week so nobody else gets eliminated.

Gotta run now. Taking my girls shopping. Have a good day everyone.

thekrinse, i have a question for you. i've noticed you're on the bike a lot. has that helped you a lot in terms of weight loss? i'm looking to start doing that more often now as I have a bike in my apartment's gym! i usually just do the elliptical and i want some variety!
 
I think it's great to mix up your workouts. Not only will you get bored doing the same thing over and over your body gets used to it as well. Although I don't think I get as good a workout in as when I do the treadmill I think the bike is a good alternative to change things up a bit.

Normally I workout 5 days a week. I'll make it to the gym 2 - 3 days. On those days I'll do 35 - 40 minutes on the treadmill followed by 30 - 35 minutes on the elliptical. On my other workout days I'll do an hour on the bike at home. I have consistantly lost weight with this routine. I definitely work up a sweat when on the bike. I'll do the bike while watching a high energy show which gets me pedaling all the more faster. Currently I'm watching the 3rd season of The Biggest Loser which I didn't watch while it was on but got the opportunity to tape when the Bravo channel was running a marathon of it.

I would definitely try subsituting the bike in for the elliptical every few workouts and see how it works for you.

Hey all, hope everyone is doing well this week. So far I have done great on the bonus challenge and am working out 1-1.5 hours every day. I've already lost 1.5 pounds this week and just hope I can either maintain or lose more by Fridays weigh in.
 
You all are so good with the exercising.....last week I had to squeeze a ton of exercise in the last day or two to get the full points.....I usually exercise about 30 minutes a day, 45 on a GREAT day.....b/c I'm so busy I feel like this way I'm not really taking much time out of my schedule. Although I had today off and have already done 30 minutes on the elliptical, maybe I'll go back and do the bike for 45 minutes.

Just thought I'd drop by to check on everyone!
I'm having a good on program day, even tho I wasn't able to get my exercise in this morning, I have eaten well and within my range, and had quite a bit of fiber. I also drank about 28 oz of water so far. I'm about to hop off the puter and knock out some cardio on the Nordik trak!

Hey everyone. I've been doing good on the fiber... but its harder than I though!

I went to the store last night and bought lots of fruits, veggies, and yogurt for today.

I am also aimed for 3 hours of exercise today. I'm just in the mood to do it I guess.

I hope everyone else is doing well!
