Hi guys, well I'm sorry to let the team down, but it hasn't been a fantastic week :(
I've managed to do some exercise almost every day, but I didn't get all the bonus points, and - the worst - my weight has actually gone up :( In fact, I think 'time of the month' has a lot to do with it, but even so I'm disappointed. Really sorry, everyone. But well done to all the others who have done so well. I proud of you all. I'll be watching your progress in the next few weeks.
 
hey all just got home from a 30 hour shift at the hospital.....will sleep for a few hours and post in a little bit good luck this week let's make it so none of us have to leave this week.......!!!!!!!!!!
 
Auburn- don't beat yourself up! Always just try to do your best, and if ya slip up . . pull urself up by your boot straps. If weightloss were easy, everyone would be skinny! The worse thing you can do is allow a bad meal, bad day, or bad week determine your immediate future.
I've already commited myself to finish the challenge, whether I get eliminated or not, I WILL finish this . . . and I encourage you to do the same.

Yarmiah: you mean that, if you don't make it through to next week, you plan to follow the challenge in parallel? What an excellent idea! I hadn't thought of doing that! D'you know, I feel better already - thank you!
 
Yeh Auburn, we are all in it together. Just get back on the wagon.

I had a very tough week for me tooo!! Though, somehow, not sure how, managed to drop 2lbs.

This week, today, I am in it. Had my salad for lunch. Walked down 21 flights to get that damn salad only to walk back up 21 stairs to eat the salad. Almost left the salad behind as I need both hands to grip the railing and pull my lower half up the dam n stairs. :D

Loseit88--you're fine with your update.

I'm going to start a thread for those who get eliminated to join. You can copy and paste your stats there and update them. At the end of the challenge, I'll total up pts for those people still following along, and there will be a winner amongst those people. So even if you do get eliminated this week, or next or whenever...lol...you can still keep up with things. I'm doing this mainly to keep people motivated even after they've been eliminated (b/c most of us will be at some pt). The whole pt of this challenge is to shed the pounds, so I think it's a good thing to do. So don't feel too badly if you get eliminated this week--there is a consolation prize to work for.

Yep we were the winning team of the last challenge. When we started off we were in second to last place and we ended up winning the whole thing. We kicked some major butt!

Loseit:
No diet pills or anything else like that here. Just plain old diet and exercise does the trick every time. My problem is I am a terrible yo-yo'er. I lost 10lbs in the last challenge only to put it back on over the holidays. But am very happy to see it come off once again this week. If I could only master that maintaining thingy, lol.

Auburn:
Don't worry about one bad week. We all have them. Just put it behind you and move forward. You can do this, so hang in there. We're all here for you to help you along the way when those rough times come.

Hey guys..so I just updated my stats...lost 2.5 pounds this week! I'm hoping for a bit more for next week. Anyways all of you did such a great job with your weight loss and bonus points. I'm so glad you are all on my team.

Auburn: dont worry about not having a loss this week..im sure you'll drop big time next week !

Getting in the right amount of fiber is likely harder than one would think. I had a problem in a previous challenge calculating protein in a similiar way. Lucky for my, my online program tracks fiber too.

Fiber 25.97g 103.86%

I had to eat more popcorn than usual to get over that hump! But popcorn is a great source! It has 9 grams of fiber in one cup of air popped corn!
 
OH CRUD...My husband told me to wait until this evening to sign-in(it is $10 a day to use the internet at Disney). I might have to shoot him. I am so sorry if this weigh-in doesn't count. I am hoping it does and I don't get kicked off. I am so dedicated to these challenges. Please don't get rid of me:cry:
I lot 1.6 this week. Stayed within my bonus guidelines on all but one day. On the drive up we had fast food. Frankly it was gross and I didn't feel goodabout it, but I didn't want to have a side salad. Everyone did great this week. Good job! I will be here for the next 24 hours and then probably not until next Friday morning unless I can find free wi-fi somewhere.

i wish i could get myself to wake up and go to the gym.....but when that alarm goes off, all i do is hit snooze until it's too late to even think about working out and making it to the hospital on time
