Now I was at 203 earlier in the week but I stood on the scales this morning and was back at 204 but that is okay it is not a gain from last week so I am ok with it!!

Stayed the same, guess its better than nothing. I thought I would have gained a lb after this week..
 
Well, I lost 3 pounds so I am happy, Once again I didn't do exercise this week, just a little strength training, I also did sit ups and push ups, which I had not been able to do since like 2004! The weather is like 100 degrees right now, and tomorrow i'm taking my nephews hiking in New Mexico, so I am up for the challenge, I hope everyone did well, and if not next week will be better!
 
Oh dear guys, I did so bad this week. I don't know what happened, it all fell apart. Tomrorow I WILL DO BETTER!! I think I'll sigh in here everyday to record my progress, so PLEASE kick my ass if I'm not being good, ok??
I've been string willed so far and I don't know what happened so I'd love if you guys could help me out here!

Congrats shyjesta on the 3 pounds!!!:jump: Awesome I am doing a happy dance for you!! Isn't that a great feeling to stand on that scale and see it lower than the week before?! Have a great time hiking just remember to take your water with you so you don't dehydrate!! Tell us all about the scenery when you get back so those of us who can't get out like that this weekend can be jealous!!:D
 
gatorade and water...

Buy some gatorade powder. The best is the purple grape. That has to be the
best or the one that has a pink top. All have orange tubs. But anyway in the hot sun you may lose quite a bit of sugar. The gatorade can be good. It doesn't have to be the enemy. If you just mix your water, or ice water is best, with 1/3 of the tiny cup they give you in the powder with a little more than eight oz. of water you will find yourself not running out of energy so quick. Its incredible what lack of sugar can do. It down right makes me drown under water, while bike riding the 15 mile bike rides if I just go with ice water. And I drink about three bottle of water, and three bottle of water lightly tapped with my sweet gatorade. I like the sweet gatorades. If you like sour tastes than get the blue or green tops ...but I prefer a little sweet taste to my water and when I run down low ..and I have my jaw on the ground I pull out the water mixed with gatorade and than before you know it I am pumping myself right up those hills and carrying the bike all the way through the ride ... so don't let your blood sugar get below 115 when walking ... ok

Yep i agree, Don't beat yourself up too much, just get back at it. I am pumped up and ready to go hiking, the reward is a beautiful small water fall,with a drip hence the name "dripping springs" but it's great! Take care everyone, and yeah I am taking Gatorade because water won't cut it for me when I am thirsting and thirsting some more!

Hey guys, thanks for the encouragement! Weather is horrible here at the moment, but I made it out for a 3.5 mile run. Feeling much better now, I realise I was just too hard on myself! Have a gym date set for tomorrow, should be fun ;)

Hey guys, sorry I haven't been around in a while! Life has been hectic and it's hard for me to even keep up!!! Well, I ate good last week, but I only exercised one day. I had a stiff neck all week and back stasums (sp?) for majority of it, and then was sick all weekend long. I think I ate bad food on Friday for lunch. And that was the only time I "cheated" this week. We all had chicken quadillias and I'm the only one who got sick and am still feeling it. I guess my body's not use to eating that stuff anymore and totally rejected it. I did loose too pounds, so I'm pretty happy! Keep up the great work everyone!

I feel back on track now after my slip up, phew! I've been working out hard, which I've been enjoying, but been finding it tricky to cut back on the food :( grr, why isn't that part of dieting just as easy?!!??! Haha, if only!
 
So my week has started off bad due to a visit to the dentist. I don't like him very much! I am hoping though that my loss of appetite due to a really sore mouth will make me drop a pound maybe! I am happy to read that everybody else is doing good and I am glad to see positive additudes all around! Keep up the awesome work everyone!!;)

Hey guys, just wanted everyone to know that sometimes when you feel as if their is no hope, it's usually that time something great is about to happen, how can we judge success without knowing what failure is first. Each and everyone one of us has what it takes to accomplish our goal, will we? That's yet to be seen, I have faith that everyone involved in our fit challenge can do it, and if you make a mistake learn from it and keep going, each time you fail, that's just one step closer to success, I really believe that. Weigh-in today saw the scale at 164.4. So woohoo!!! Nice to have lost a bit. I weighed in today because I'm leaving tommorow night for the weekend.
Hmm, somehow I thought today was Thursday! Doh!
Anyway, weigh in was today and progress was made. I'm a bit worried about the weekend and eating out in "the city," but I think if I keep a handle on portion sizes and don't splurge on desserts/ice cream.
 
I feel like such a loser. I can't seem to break 295...
I just finished eating some chips and dip... not too much... just enough to give me a headache thinking about the weight I might gain

Its terribly hot outside and I don't know how I am going to exercise in this heat ... it is so hot in the house ...outside is worse ... going to see about an evening walk ..might do me good :)

Natalie you are going to break 295. How do I know this you ask??? Because we are all here giving you that support!!:) I know this heat is a killer but don't let it get you down. That evening walk sounds like a great idea and I hope you do it!

Don't stress out about the chips and dip just hide them all away so you don't get into them again today!!:)

My ultimate goal is to lose 70 lbs (maybe more if possible). I want to go from a size 16 to a size 6 (maybe 4 depending on how I feel). I used to be a size 8, so I am hoping that it is doable.
I want to do weight training 3 days a week, jog everyday, spin 3 days a week. And of course I play tennis twice a week. I want to get addicted to working out. And of course I want to eat healthy. I have to control my addiction to Starbucks coffe and tendency to binge at night. I tend to do well during the day, but come evening and I am weak. Sometimes I eat out of boredom, so I will try hard to keep myself occupied.
