Hi everyone,
I've been away so missed two weigh ins, sorry about that! But I'm back now so I'll have to try and get back to normality. I have lost 2lbs which I suppose is good considering I've been lying around in the sun and drinking lots of wine and of course eating nice meals every night! I haven't had a chance yet to catch up on all the posts but well done to everyone whose lost anything and to everyone else whose been trying.
I'll try and read up a bit later.

Okay what is up with the no change thing???:mad: I guess I am going to have to kick it into gear!!
 
I didn't kick the proverbial 295, but I didn't go up in weight, which is good...
I walked twenty minutes today at such a brisk pace my heart almost couldn't keep up .. I didn't feel like walking today so I gave myself a job..
I needed to get a card for my friend for her birthday and a present ..so I went up to a little store up the way and walked briskly .. my hips hurt so bad and so did my ankles ... I haven't walked for four days ... swam two days ago ...but since the break up I haven't been very motivated ..
I need to stay motivated ..tomorrow ..going swimming for a few hours ... definately work it in the water ...

Cooling off will be nice!

and dragon ... I love dragonflies too ..

I had a dragon fly land on my hand when I was mowing the lawn, well taking care of the wheel barriow ..it took a ride with me ..
and just this past week at the lake .. I had tiny dragon flies landing on me ... the metallic blue one brought along his little friend, prob a female and they sat on my shoulder and I stared at them with a smile and they were cleaning themselves and looking back ..they were so adorable ..
last summer I went up parker mtn and there were so many mayflies and dragonflies ..they are my fav bugs ..the only bugs I enjoy ..other than butterflies ...but dragonflies and mayflies are the best ..they really ROCK!

Well, another steady week. I lost 3 pounds and I am slowly gaining more and more energy, I felt good after my hike last week, I have started doing sit ups and push ups, I have even lost a pant size! So that made my day, I can fit in my size 44's. I was a size 46 in pants, Goodluck to everyone, well June is over with and I am pretty happy with the results, I sometimes get frustrated because I want it to go faster, but I am slowly understanding that losing 2 and 3 lbs a week is good, I don't feel deprived and I feel like I am actually learning how to eat good food, rather than eating junk I just don't need. Take care everyone.
 
Breaking 295 finally .. woke up 2 oz. less than 295.. I know I know.. doesn't seem like much, but I am happy anyway ... :)

Chinese food huh ..that sucks ...but You can do it girl!

Well I am going for a long ..VERY long walk today .. probably about an hour and a half .. I just figured it out today, I have my sister going with me... she really really needs to lose weight. She is having some massive complications from her weight. She can barely walk ..so this will be good for her..

I am also going bike riding for 45-55 minutes ..it will be an easy one, but hard for my sister ..which will be good .. I will definately getting exercise in today!

:eek2: well the 4th of July is about a day away, and I know I am going to be tempted to eat more than I should, I am going to a water park for the day and then a firework show later that night, but what scared me is during the day, being in the water all day can really drain you, atleast it drains me, so I feel hungry and since i'm trying to stay within a specific calorie range, cooking barbeque all day doesn't help, should I allow myself to eat more ( not go crazy) but maybe try to stay at my BMR instead of lowering my calorie intake by 500-1000 calories? The other night someone asked me if I was on a diet, my first reaction was to say "Yes" some how I just sat there and thought about it and said "No" I am changing the way I eat for good, I guess learning how to limit myself during the holidays is included aswell. Every time I skipped out on one day, or eat something "bad" I would feel guilty and feel no hope anymore and just quit .. I wouldn't keep going with the weight loss, since being on the site I don't do that any longer ... I reached a funk two weeks ago and didn't exercise for five days, than I read my diary and saw my ticker and read other journals and realized we are all in this together and sometimes every one of us does "the bad" missing a day or two of exercise or eating a little too much, whatever, but they picked themself up and went back on the band wagon when they realized what they were doing ...
and I have lost about five to six pounds since being on this site ..and with plateaus I just keep going

what I am saying ..
is don't feel hopeless ... just pick yourself back up and do it ... look at others diaries ...and you will feel inspired and join .."the club"
This is a great site, keep using it and enjoying the knowledge that others are doing this ... with you!

Hey everyone! I know I haven't been on in a while. But dh has been getting a few days off from work here and there, so we have been trying to see as much stuff around us as we can since we only have about 7 more months left in Europe. We spent 4th of July in Normandy seeing all of the D-day memorials ect. My youngest got to play in the ocean for the first time. And of all places it was on Omaha beach - too cool. Not everyone can say that! Anyway, I'm not doing too well with losing, but not gaining. That is a big deal for me with all of the traveling. I get so sick in the car that I much all of the time. The main thing I did different this time is I took fresh fruit & veggies instead of chips. oh well, hopefully I will be able to work out more again. The weather here is still rainy and miserable.
 
Glad to know your still around, must be awesome to be in Europe, I hope to go there someday. Keep at it!

okay now this is getting a bit tiresome. Now I could get technical and say that I am really down 2 ounces but I don't count ounces and I round up to the next pound so really when I got on the scale today it was 302.2 and last week it was 203.4. I hate ounces:mad: I would like to be able to post a number other than 204!!! Anyways I am done venting now!!:rolleyes: Next week it will be a different number!! I have faith!!

Well not a good week for me, I really feel as If I didn't over eat or anything, but I only lost 1 pound, so that is kinda depressing I really wanted to be out of the 290's this week, but I guess next week it's gonna happen. Goodluck everyone!

I can't edit my weeks, so I will put todays weight here, It did say 293.3,
but I am going to say I am more like 294.0... so that is my weight this week... on pound less from 295, so I broke 295!

After a bad week, I got out of my pitty party, thanks to "IronMan" he had a great post on his before and after pics. It got me going again and even jogging! I actually exercised everyday! Another thing is, alot of people started with the Fall off for Fall challenge but it's only been a few that actually update, where is everyone? I wish everyone a great weigh-in today!
