Challeneges
4 points a day...the days you complete the challenege you recieve 4 points...also if you do it everyday for the whole week you can reveive 30 points.A little bonus over the 4 points a day.Added incentive and a reward!

Weight Loss
What you loose is your points...(.5lbs = .5 points)

Water
Water in ozs...what you drink is what we get.32ozs is 32 points

Exercise
5 points a day for 45 mins+ So 45mins and above gets you 5 points a day...if no exercise that day no points...

One other thing...

Checking in daily with food and exercise
2 points a day...It is about accountability, checking in daily is important and recording everything for us to see good or bad is part of it all.


With your activity level and water drinking your points will be up with ours n no time!



And also, if you continue on the challenges for the weeks following you can get those points as well. So if ts week, you matcehed or gained your lbs in exercising minutes you will get the challenge points for that daily as well as if you continue on with no junk food..just more incentive...

Plus you dont need to check in daily but when you do check in account for your food and activity when away and you can still get the points for checking in

It is just a positive and supportive way to stay accoutable!

Ok so Sunday 14/9 I ended up being really controlled with my food - ably assisted by feeling a bit under the weather and not really wanting to eat.

The nearest thing to a meal that I had was my weetabix with lots of skimmed milk. Otherwise I had 6 * 0% yoghurts, sugar free jelly and lots and lots of fruit. I really couldnt face anything else.

Under those categories
Checking in - did that - 2 points
Exercise - at the end of the day it was up to 11 miles on the treadmill at 4.0mph that is 165 minutes - 5 points
Water - 2.5 litres - so that is 84 fl ozs - 84 points
Challenges
- matched my weight in exercise minutes - done so 30 points for the week
- no junk food - 4 points

I make that 125 points for Sunday 14/9 and so far for me.

TARGET FOR END OF SEPT IS 174 LBS

After a week of junk food and numbly chowing down whatever late at night (very emotional eating) I earned a gain... did expect it, so that okay.

This week I am focusing on getting 2 fruits and 3 veg per day, doing 3 skipping sessions and 3 body weight sessions a week, and steering clear of junk food. I have no issues with water intake, so that's sorted. I would also like to make most of my carb servings wholegrain (not refined).

I would like to have lost 1.6 pounds by Thursday's weigh in.

Monday was another good day. I did eat a proper meal which was healthy and all my eating was controlled.

Main meal was a pork loin steak with a tin of low salt, low sugar baked beans.
Otherwise I had 3 weetabix, skimmed milk and sweetener, 4 * 0% yoghurts, sugar free jelly and fruit.

Under the points categories
Checking in - did that - 2 points
Exercise - 11 miles on the treadmill at 4.0mph that is 165 minutes - 5 points
Water - 3.0 litres - so that is 101 fl ozs - 101 points
Challenges
- matched my weight in exercise minutes - counted earlier in the week
- no junk food - 4 points

Total points earned:
125 points for Sunday 14/9
112 points for Monday 15/9

So far Tuesday is going well - I have got my walking in and the food is staying on track.

My personal challenge is to walk at least 7 miles every day.

My challenege this week is to work on getting in more fruit, well fruit period, one piece of fruit a day ( or the equivilant of fruit!(sounds bad yes but im not eating any) and to do an exercise video 3 times this week wether at work or at home.

I am a little confused as to how you got 110 exercise points. I am still trying to get to grips with the points system here.

Wednesday is going well so far - I have done my exercise walks outside today - walking to Shepperton (where I had to go to the dentist) and Walton (where I needed to go to the shops). Pedometer is on 10.50 miles so far.

Oh ha ha ha - TYPO that is how!I work all night and exhausted I tally up at work in the early morning. I exercised 110mins and shouldnt have put it there, i couldnt figure out why my points were so hig but figured it had somethign to do with all my water, LOL!ooopppss
 
Hi Ladies!! :)

Sorry I have been missing for ages....had a bit of a family crisis and Im afraid i dont cope with stress well. My niece was born on the 10th and needed emergency surgery. It was pretty close for a while but she has pulled through and is really showing huge improvement every day now! We are so proud of her!!!

Stress isnt an excuse for the 6lbs i put on in the last fortnight...i dont know how the cals could have gotten so out of hand but i was drinking wine quite a few nights and snacking rather than eating proper meals. Anyway starting tomorrow im back on track and will DEF be getting my ass skinny again!
 
Allie - I am sorry to hear that your niece had so many problems at first. It is great that things sound a lot better for her now.

We have all had our moments of dealing with stress in a less than exemplary manner and your issues sound like a textbook stress gain to me. Six pounds is nothing to put on in a fortnight - I put on 14 pounds in the three weeks between 24th August and 14th September - although I have to admit that my gain was more to do with temptation than stress. It is great that you are getting back on track and I am sure that your six pounds will have melted away before you know it.

- I did the personal challenge (walking 7 miles)

Total points earned:
125 points for Sunday 14/9
112 points for Monday 15/9
112 points for Tuesday 16/9
112 points for Wednesday 17/9

I may need to revisit this figure though when I see the answer to the following.

Which day of the week do we all add in the weightloss points and start again accruing points for exercise weight in minutes and getting points for new challenge? I suspect that I joined half way through a challenge week.

Allie , im sorry to hear about your niece and all her problems rom the start.Glad to hear she is doing better and glad to see you back here:)

Stress is horrible I can gain 10 lbs in the blink of an eye when stressed!I also think we dont realize how much good our good habits benefit us once we start eliminating them ya know.Like all the little things add up!
