Hey gals...welcome to the first day!Tuesday to Tuesday we will run, first challenege this week NO JUNK FOOD!

A revew of the points system and how will work if you missed it:)!

Point System

Challeneges
4 points a day...the days you complete the challenege you recieve 4 points...also if you do it everyday for the whole week you can reveive 30 points.A little bonus over the 4 points a day.Added incentive and a reward!

Weight Loss
What you loose is your points...(.5lbs = .5 points)

Water
Water in ozs...what you drink is what we get.32ozs is 32 points

Exercise
5 points a day for 45 mins+ So 45mins and above gets you 5 points a day...if no exercise that day no points...

One other thing...

Checking in daily with food and exercise
2 points a day...It is about accountability, checking in daily is important and recording everything for us to see good or bad is part of it all.
 
I think saying where we are from is a smart idea...I forgot that in my intro - LOL...Im from British Columbia (Canada) Vancouver - B.C...and I am 30 yrs old.Don't think I mentioned that either:)LOL!

Im glad I made the no junk food for this week...When I came into work last night I was looking for chips.We had our big annual BBQ last Wednesday and there is a boat load of chips left and pop.Every night I came in and had a pop and some chips.The no junk food made me make a better chioce (salmon and green beans)

This morning I weighed in at 151... I keep flexing between 148 and 151. I am 5'2". My goal by the end of September is to be down to 140.

So far today:
Eliptical machine- 30 minutes
crunches ( bicycle/regular)- 15 minutes
stretching/sidebends- 15 minutes
5 POINTS

Vanilla almond oatmeal
2 cups of coffee ( cream andf splenda)

working on the water... ugh HATE drinking water!!

checking in- 2 POINTS

total points accumulated thus for 9/2- 7 POINTS


I will update this in the evening and have acurate counts!

UGH! i caved and ate some junk food :( im not a junk food junkie... but it certainly is ALL OVER the office here at work in my face every corner i turn! No points for me in that department! Here is my journal from yesterday

9/2:

So, the no junk food was going well yesterday, then my boyfriend surprised me with a custard slice for desert after he made supper. So I ate it and it was yum!

So, I'm gonna tally up my points once a week... that ok?

WOW im totally sucking in my thread, LOL...I dunno what got in to me, i usually dont eat much through out the week...but i do need to get back to stepping up my exercise...Im still having a hard time balancing out my energy from working nights. I work 10 hr shifts and have the two kids and dont really get enough sleep through out the week and have a hard time finding the energy to exercise...these last few weeks have been very low key...

No problem been thinking about it and i think i have a good one :D So far so good on the challenge this week. Not really a junk food fan so I quite liked it this week :sifone:

Sounds good to me but i have lost points by nopt checking in every day this week! Bad Allie!! Oh well i will do better from now on!

Tuesday

meal 1-1 slice flaxseed bread 1 tbsp peanut butter

meal 3--salad with chicken and tomotoes and light raspberry vinagrette dressing

meal 4--wheat chex with 1% milk

meal 5--1/2 cup chix stuffing casserole(homemade thingy)

Sorry, I don't really add calories anymore. I have a general idea of what and how much to eat and stick to it. It's all about portion control for me instead of calorie counting or ruminating over every scrap of food(and I will do that so this works:blush5:)



Exercise

30 minutes mile walk
1 hour step class
1 hour body pump(basically strength training with barbell set to music)

(one of my heavier days)

I really need to step up my exercise but ri9gh tnow my focus has been on more rest and trying to get my house back in order after a house fire we had 4 months ago...I really need to step it up!

And i also thoguht it best to tally up the points divided like you guys do bu tI was lazy yesturday im gonna do it that way too!
