I was thinking that same thing, Js lol. This is the first week, it takes a few days to work out the cobwebs ^^.

Personally, I would use the reference "oil the bolts" or somethin along those lines since I felt stiff and like it was hard to move when I was working out lol.

I'm going to award each of you 2 points for drinking your full 8- 8oz glasses of water each day. I will now award 1 point for 4 glasses, only for your full 8 glasses...so drink up!!!

(btw: I'm going to chose one of you each week to do the next weeks mini challenge, that way you are all involved. I will chose the member with the biggest % of weight loss at the end of the week)
 
I had to go and put that into a converter for the metric equiv lol. that is less than 2 litres a day, so my 3-4 per day means I got this mini challenge in the bag.
 
I am nervous for weigh in tomorrow. I know some of you will pull really big numbers but I wont pull that kind of number.

I am too...just because I did kick ass the 1st week I started my diet (before the challenge started) BUT do keep this in mind...this competition is a marathon, not a sprint! So if we don't kill it this week...theres always next...but we will 'pick up our cross' everyday and it will pay off!

I didnt get a full 1% of weight loss - so not everyone will pull big numbers... I am actually pretty pleased with the loss I did get.

Love it :) Already take a 1.5ltr bottle to work everyday, and guessing things like orange squash in evening count already? Or does it need to be just water?

This morning weigh-in.... 275.8 ! Will update chart, and excercise for last few days once at pc not phone

SO, I lost my goal of 3 lbs for the week, but I can't say that I'm not disappointed I didn't lose more, BUT I did lack on the water and exercise this week, so I'm gonna have to step is up this coming week!
 
glad to hear it Omega! With all that smack talk, you had me worried ;)

LOL - you have to remember that I am a PCOS lady. Weight loss is tricky for me and I have to work very hard for every bit I get... I got 0.96% so very near 1%. Maybe you can confirm how we claim the points - I get the impression that we can only claim 5 points at a time as we hit each 1% boundary - then a mop up point fraction at the end... If you were allowing me to claim fractions of a point every week it would be 4.8 points...

I did get maximum exercise points during the first week. :)
 
I wouldnt' worry too much about the points for % yet. I would think at .96% you could call it a whole 1 % even...but at least wait till the end of the month to try to figure out your % points.
 
Its a marathon - not a sprint. I just know that I will be thrilled if I get anywhere near 10% gone at the end of 10 weeks... LOL - 2 years of that and a person could disappear...:svengo:

I'm happy that I got some exercise every day, and that I'm finally using my gym membership, but I know I "treated" myself more than I should have. Here's hoping next week is a little better. :)

Team platinum has about 18lb~ loss so far unless I miscounted yay us! :D

I read everybody's posts and nice job on getting out and exercising and staying committed! And bringing in lots of points haha. I haven't done much exercise or been online much because I've been sick again, but I'm not gonna give up on the team or myself! And sorry if I don't bring in high numbers, honestly, I'm probably the weakest link on the team xD I have a lot of restrictions and health problems. I will be weighing in later today tho :3
