Weight-Loss WL competition: TEAM PLATINUM

Weight-Loss
This post is for team Platinum members who may be having trouble with the Exercise Portion of the challenge. This is a very basic full body routine using nothing but bodyweight and enough floor space to lie down in. It covers both cardio and strength. The whole routine should take between 5 and 10 minute and is best used as part of a circuit (repeat as often as time and fitness level allows) or ad odd times during the day when you have a few moments.

Trusylver, I'm one of those struggling with the exercise part, so I snuck in and nabbed your plan. I hope that is okay.

Also, good luck to everybody, hope you'll all do really well - even though we're on opposing teams, we still all have a common goal, and can cheer each other on! :)

Yes - we want everyone in PLATINUM and VICTORY to do absolutely brilliantly... Better than you have ever done before...
We just want GOLD to do even better.... :biggrinjester:

Weighed myself today at 214.2 :D

Yay congrats! :D Keep up the good work.

Decided to do a mid-week weigh-in myself today as well, 278.2 (-2.2lbs from Fri weigh-in), so on target to hit my 3lb a week unless I do something stupid! :D Would be nice to clock an extra lead on my end goal (e.g. Get 4 this week, so if I only get 2 another it evens out), but don't want to focus on it, just if it happens it's nice :D

How's everyone else doing, or are you keep weigh-ins for Fri?

Steve

I am keeping my weigh ins till Friday, unfortunately Friday is usually a bad day for me as far as the scales go because I usually have plenty of fluid retention at the end of the training week which usually disappears by Monday.

congrats on the weight loss Loch and Steve21!

Trusylver I can relate because last week Friday I had ALOT of fluid retention. My legs were like filled to capacity but back to normal by Monday.

Hey team.
Sorry I haven't been posting much over the weekend, I didn't have much time, and felt like I had to read all the diaries when I checked the forums which takes a while.
I know, I'm silly sometimes.

Anyway, I've been doing reasonably good. I exercise almost every day (I just skipped last sunday since I was having an off day), and my weight is steadily going down. I'd like it to go down a little quicker, though, so I may change my daily routines a little to get things under control a little more.
See y'all tomorrow.

Sounds like everyones doing really well!!! Keep it up!!! I'm not weighing myself until friday! I'm still doing awesome, but not QUITE as awesome as I did when I first started 2 weeks ago. But I lost 6lbs that week...maybe now that I'm in a more comfortable pattern, I'll keep losing the 3 lbs a week thats my goal :)

Mrxian...don't worry, I don't have time to check in EVERY day either :)

I have a tendency to weigh myself every day. Been doing it for a long time, lol.

I'm not TOTALLY happy with how I've started so far, but this is only week one. I've cut back on the fast food so I'm happy about that. I'm hoping next week will be better. I think I'll be happy with my weigh in on Friday regardless :).

Have you all done your hour of exercise for today. I have.

If you do not want to do less exercise than the 53 year old - you had better do some...

I did my first work out of the competition. A little late but I am so proud! :) 30 minutes on my elliptical. It is hard to get into a solid routine.

Baby steps, one day turns into two. Just do what you can, because every time you do it, you're a winner.

I do feel a strong sense of accomplishment in myself and in knowing that I helped my team just a little bit to become victorious :)
GO TEAM PLATINUM!

good for you!!! I havnt gotten there yet...hopefully soon!

Yes you will! This is one of the reasons I am so glad that this is a longer competition because if you dont start up on your exercise right away or you have a couple bad diet days you dont have to feel like you wasted half the competition :D
