Not only the points Msbeckie, but you have that 5 lbs you need to get off for Winter break. Now's Winter break so no treats this month :rolleyes:. There's always next month or the month after that to enjoy food with friends :D. Right now its Winter break--weight loss time LOL! Well if you blow the bonus points, that's OK, but just dont blow your calories too much. And have lots of fun and tell us all about it :D.

wnt to all body workout today,was feeling very energetic afterwards but now i m a bit sore,so dont know what will happen with the myh exercise tomorrow,try to avoid all kind of junk till now,lets see what will happen tomorow as i m going shopping and always have to stop at mcdonalds for chips for my dd.

anyways u guys doing absolutely fab\!!!!!welldone!!!!

I just walked 46 minutes at work today (still very sick so no gym) which leaves me in need of 54 minutes to get full points!

I couldn't open the video from the office so hopefully it'll open from home.

I did 80 minutes of cardio today. I just need one hour to get the total 5 hours, so tomorrow I will do 30 min weights and 30 min cardio.

I worked out for 60 minutes today - and still haven't had any goodies! Yeah...there's about 8 chocolate covered donuts in my kitchen that have been there since Saturday (thanks to my boyfriend) - I just keep telling myself they're stale! lol

well I did very well on calories and snacking today so I think I will be happy come friday, I weighed in at -2lbs today, if only that sticks around!

I've been down 1.5 pounds since yesterday. Though this is good for the challenge, I just lose and regain the same exact 4 lbs endlessly so not very exciting for me. Who knows, maybe this challenge will help me get below my plateau weight?!

I've already had about 1850 calories today so even though I wanted a yogurt and I still feel a bit hungry, I declined because of the challenge. I dont want my weight going up before weigh-in :rolleyes:.

Go team!!

:grouphug: So im very proud of myself.We went out for lunch today with work and I had a salad!We als went to the movies adn I wanted to get popcorn:lurk5: and had planned on gettin a small one but in the end I didn't get one cuz I wasnt hungry.I bought a big bottle of water instead.
 
Mom2--I agree with Blancita on the new low thing. I'm a daily weigher, and I always condsider my new lows my weight even if the scale fluctuates a bit from day to day. I have heard that cold medicines can make you temporarily gain weight--water retention or something. If you've been taking that, it could be why the scale's up. Either way, unless you've been consuming tons of calories, there's no way those extra lbs can be fat. They're probably water or glycogen--and those fluctuate daily. Nothing to worry about. :)

Blancita--your Indian patty thing doesn't sound deep fried, so you're ok pt wise. I've eaten a lot of Indian food, and I don't think I've ever seen anything deep fried.
 
ladies I posted over on the challenge board my own personal challenge (since I'm a bit of a health/nutrition freakie anyway--well getting more so since mid last year). Anyway I am going to try and get my fiber from more natural sources instead of supplements or iron fortified quick acting carbs and see hwo I do. Actually Friday I am going to eat my normal routine and log how much fiber that gets me so I can see where I stand, then improve from there.

SO GUESS WHAT? I am up at 4:45 and back to the gym even though I still have horrid head cold thanks to you gals, I also saved $45 thanks to you gals as they have a biggest looser at my gym I would have joined otherwise and theirs costs$45, AND I weighed in at -2lbs again today! YAHOO!!!!!!! Seriously, thanks so much for the boost of inspiration a couple days ago when I was 'down' that would have been when I faltered had it not been for you all and I usually GAIN weight when I'm sick because I use the "I dont feel well so I will just eat whatever xyz I feel like" thanks ladies!
 
Congratulations on the 2 lbs mom!

I was wondering if you have to "eat" the fiber or if taking the supplements is OK. What will you eat to get that much fiber from foods?
 
take a look over on the week 2 challenge thread, I posted some handy resources. I eat alot of beans and barley as well as a good # of veggies. I wont tout my diet as 'fiber rich' until I calculate it out, I'm not sure I'm meeting my quota but I think I am. My food journals arent very descriptive so you cant really tell but friday I will try to be descriptive when counting my fiber content for an example (again well see how good an example it is, I'm not sure but I have made efforts over teh past 2 years to eliminate everythign white and get to 'true' whole grain fiber rich diet).

I drink alot of veggie smoothies and was wondering how much fibre was in them?
I also eat wholemeal bread and sweet potatoes regularly so was just wondering where i Was standing at the moment.

Will it also make a difference with the fact that I juice all the veggies I eat because I'm not eating the skins?

Oh man! I just spent the last 15 minutes going through my kitchen and I think I need to buy some more Fiber-rich foods. I've never counted my fiber, so I think this bonus may be a little tougher than the last one for me. Are we allowed to take fiber supplements as well? If they're too expensive, I'm gonna have to stick to fruits, veggies and whole-wheat bread.
