Keep up the great work everyone!

Hi, guys! Remember everyday is a new day, a fresh start. Don't let what happened however long ago affect what you do or how you feel now. Learn from the past, but don't dwell on it. :)
That's my little inspirational message, but you guys probably already know that stuff. I wanted to contribute somehow. ^^;
Go red! ;D

Don't worry--you're still in the challenge!! I'm sorry you were in the hospital and that your daughter's been sick as well. No fun at all. :(

One thing--can you list your weigh-ins in lbs, please? I just like to make it all uniform so it's easier for me. 1kg = 2.2 lbs in case you didn't know. So that makes your starting weight 167.2lbs. You can go back and edit it. Thanks!

Stacy--keep your chin up girl! There are lots of people on all teams who have already blown 2 days of bonus pts, so don't count yourself out so soon. Where's your fighting spirit? Sorry to hear about your back trouble.

Im proud of myselfI worked a dbl well still working it actually it is 425am...I am here till 8am...I came in for the day shift 7 - 5 and back for the night shift - midnight - 8...which is an awake overnight of cleaning and cooking breakfast...but I have resisted the cake and the junk in the house!!!

Just to clarify the points system for exercise...it is 3 points for every 30 mins right ? Or is it 3 points for every hour ? I better go adn re-read...LOL

Im doing 3 points for every 30 mins

2. You’ll get 3pts for every 30min that you exercise each week for a max of 21pts per week. For every 30min you exercise beyond 210min, you’ll get 1 pt for a max of 3 additional pts. So 24pts total are available for exercising 5hrs each week.

Maximum exercise is 24 points per week.

Only the first 5 hours counts towards the challenge.

hahaha whatever works:)did it work ???

It worked! haha!
I had one lady tell me how lovely the cake was and am I sure I didn't want any!
So ended up having no cake, without all the "go on, you know you want to" "It's really nice." comments!

Woop Woop!

Come on Red Team!
Lets do this!!

Good Morning Red Team, hope everyone is doing lovely today and off to a good start.

Little one and I are both sick now and so I have not gotten my gym time in today, hopefully when hubby gets home and we get back from our pediatrician appt I can go then. I started off with a healthy breakfast at least.

Oh my gosh... I am sooo sore today. I didn't get to ride yesterday, it was raining... *sigh* so I dug trenches to keep the stalls from flooding, then dug a three foot deep/wide hole for water drainage... then I groomed a bunch of horses, and lunged my horse (which she's not very good at at all) then did lots of walking around checking on horse's stalls, and then feeding... oh, and some running around too to get things done faster! :D

I was good all day...until the end....I am sorry, but my willpower crumbled when faced with Tilamook Caramel Butter Pecan ice cream... :( Oh man...

But instead of beating myself up, I will say I enjoyed it, and then move on. Will do better today. Had a bowl of banana nut "Eat Right" cereal this morning...that was yummy. :D

howz every one doing?
go red team,keep it up!!!!!

beautydiva, I'm so glad you're babies are feeling better!

Good point Xorie. If you make a food mistake you simply pick up immediately, not tomorrow or next Monday, and move on from there! That seems like the biggest way people seem to put all the weight back on. Instead of going back to watching what they're eating within a few days of binging and not caring..ya know, getting ahold of oneself after a few yummy fun days of eating bad stuff, they'll just say screw it completely and push the consequences out of their minds until all the weight is back. Well that's what I've noticed from being around 2 different WL boards on a regular basis for the past year and a half.

As for me, this challenge really kept me on track with the food and the exercising. Well the food was great until Sunday night, when I had chicken tikka masala and some nan from the Indian restaurant, I would say that was a lot of calories but its so hard to add them up when you eat from out, right? As stuffed as I was, I then binged on 2 mini whole grain bagels with butter. But at least none of it qualified for "junk". But I'm back on track with my eating today and making up bigtime for yesterday.

I made sure to go to the gym today, even though I normally would've definitely blown it off. I didn't manage to go at lunchtime and I ended up sneaking out around 4pm so I could get my exercise minutes before H picked me up at 5:30. The boss doesn't usually like me running out for my break late like that but I HAD to! ha ha

Everyone be well and do what you can to get your points! Let's win this thing people!!

:driving:

Well what a dork I am, no bonus for me and for what?? Wheat thins, seriously no idea what got into me. Anyway since I am sick I dont like real 'food' though I did really well yesterday and today but I just decided I wanted snackie food and sicne I try to rid my house of that I didnt have any 'good' options. At least I didnt ruin it caloric wise, I added sugar free jello sicne I had already blown it. Not too worried though I am doing well otherwise and promise to perform well, I think I have lost a pound already.

Monday (home sick with sick kiddo)
oatbran+raisins, honey, cinnamon, milk whole milk yogurt with blueberries
chicken wrap: grilled chicken+sprouts+celery+apple wrapped in cabbage leaf w/dressing:chopped fresh parsley, dill, yogurt, lemon juice
2 oranges 1/2 apple sliced cheese
apple sliced cheese
cup chicken vegetable soup
wheat thins sugar free jello NO BONUS FOR ME BOOOO
subway 6'' chicken cheese veggies no dressing
*35minutes walk/jog hills on treadmill + 5 minute legs
*Pedometer 10681 4.14miles

Morning everyone! I was so busy yesterday that I didn't get a chance to log on and put my Daily Motivation  so I wanted to make sure I got on early today to post before I did anything else!

On the other side of effort is accomplishment. On the other side of effort is the achievement of your goal.

From where you now stand, the effort may look like something you would rather avoid. The challenges may appear to be imposing and even insurmountable.

Think for a moment, though, about what things will look like from the other side of the effort, when it is finished. Consider how it will be once you've made the effort and moved through the challenges.

Looking back on the effort, you'll be thankful you did it. Looking back on the challenges, you'll know how much stronger and more capable they made you.

Looking back on the whole experience, you'll realize that your commitment and persistence took you somewhere special. They took you precisely where you had chosen to go.

The effort you now face will make significant demands of you, and yet the rewards are many. Choose now to start working your way to the other side.

Have a great day!

Hey guys...I wanted to make a little motivational video for our team.

I thought maybe we could all have one of our before pics for the initial motivational video and then I could make another one at the end of the challenge.

May sound corny, but I'm real into making videos for people..and I thought it would be great if we could have our own - just to keep us motivated.

If you guys are interested, email me a before pic of yourself - my email is missblonde4878@yahoo.com - make sure you put "red team pic" in the subject line so I don't delete it as spam...I get so much it makes me CRAZY!

If not, and you think the idea's kinda out there, just let me know!

Have an awesome day!
