I LOVE MY FIBER, this will be an extra easy challenge for me, THANK GOSH, this past week was a killer and one of those days I didn't make it. I went out to eat and had a glass of Merlot, OIY!!!!! Hey, I'm bad and need to make up for it this week in the fiber bonus. I'm down inches which is great, so I'll take that any day!!

CONGRATS ladies and gents for doing so damn well this past week and really pushing forward, you are ALL WINNERS!!!!!!!!!! don't forget that!

So far our team has 609.2 pts. The only one I'm missing is AmyRB, but I just PMd her, so I'm sure I'll have her numbers very shortly. I'm off to do the other teams' pts now. :D
 
I agree with the fiber challenge being A LOT easier than the no junk food week!!! I didn't do bad this week. I only lost 1 lb, but I workout out alot and I managed to do well all the challenge all except for one day! GOOD LUCK THIS WEEK!!!! and WAY TO GO TEAM! We are all doing great... Keelp it up!

Well, Blackjacks, I went crazy on the fiber today--and the calories. 2300 calories exactly! :eek: And 45g of fiber!! Am I nuts or what? I'm reserving the bathroom for all of tomorrow. :D

Just to show you how close the teams really are, when I adjust the pts for the people who were eliminated, you can see that there are less than 12pts separating each team. The first number is this week's pts. The second number subtracts the eliminated people's pts for the Red and Blue teams, and averages the pts for the Black team.

Red Total 563.1 497.4
Blue Total 634.8 520.1
Black Total 662.3 509.46

Wot! Go Black Team! I am soo glad that bonus is over. My H and I went out on a date last night to a local bar where our friends' band was playing. We had a blast!

One question: Does beer or vodka have any fiber? Maybe the olives from my martini? No? Damnit! Lol!!! A whole week with not even a glass of wine. Painful!
 
Haha! Sorry, I don't think there's any fiber in booze..lol Maybe a trace in beer.

OK how do you figure out the fiber on what you eat out?
I had Ocharlies chicken sandwhich on a whole wheat bun w/ bacon 3 cheeses and lite mayo and a bowl of cheese potatoe soup that was a lunch breakfast combo and for dinner I had like 5 peoces of WALLEY and yellow green beans and a south beach bar(which I can figure that out).

WAY TO BLACKKKKKKKKKKK We are kicking butt BUT it is so close!!!!

Go to fitday or sparkpeople and log in what you ate. Fitday tells you the fiber content, but I have no idea about sparkpeople.

Spartacus--yes, pts are accumulative. What you earned last week carries over into this week.
 
The Black Team did Awesome this week. Great job everyone.

I like challenge week 2. My secret boost, a fiber one bar for breakfast every morning, 8 or 9 grams/bar with 140-150 cals. That is an easy and filling start to the day. I think the carb/sugar count is higher than some would like, but I just work it into the rest of my nutrition. good luck.

SERVING SIZE 1/2 CUP
90 CALORIES
13 GRAMS OF FIBER
SO JUST 2 SERVINGS WOULD BE 26 GRAMS OF FIBER AND 180 CALORIES
I HAVE 2 SERVS AND A 1/2 OF A SERV NOTE SPLENDA REALLY HELPS ALOT!

I found that FiberOne works out to be just about the same.
Except for it is 60 cals and 14 grams fiber.
With a 1/2 cup skim milk and 2 servings (1/2 cup is a serving) of the FiberOne you only put yourself at 165 cals/28fiber for Breakfast.
They also have FiberOne bars that are DELISH!!! I got the oats and peanut butter flavor. So Yummy! Has 150 cals with 9 grams fiber.
With those things plus a few others I am sitting on 40 grams of fiber and it is only 2pm.

Just went back and re-read the total amount of fiber that is needed for this challenge!
I read it originally at 3 in the morning and missread it as 45 grams of fiber not 25!!!! LOL :smilielol5:
Needless to say I think that I got the 1st 3 1/2 days of this challenge in the bag.
