Hockey comes to mind when one thinks of Canada, of course, but I can’t make you play hockey, as you need people to play with, skates and an ice rink--and that would be very difficult for just about everyone but Jerome. Maple syrup is very Canadian, but most of you would enjoy eating that too much, and it's not very conducive to weight loss. Neither would eating Poutine (French fries with gravy and cheese curds—a Quebecois treat that I LOVE).
So, as Vancouver’s a port city, fishing is a major industry there. And as fish is low-cal, a great source of lean protein and full of omega-3 fatty acids, here’s the Roadblock: Eat a lb (basically a half a kilo) of salmon (not canned) over the course of the week. Only one person per team has to do this.
Angel - I might not see a loss this week either. I only saw 164 once and that was weigh-in day. And now it's back up to 165. But that seems to be how my life goes. I'm hoping that by Friday it will be back down at least to 164. I'm still going for goal of 6 hrs. So I've got to get in two more hours. If you want to do more exercise, you go ahead. I'm sure that BG and I will get in our allotted time so that it won't matter if you really, really, really want to exercise more. But if I were you I'd just take a break for a day.
I like salmon - so it's fine by me to eat it. Just don't want to be the roadblock hog since I completed the capoiera this week.
Hey Ladies!!! Angel, I think you are going to have to eat the salmon if you don't mind... I really don't like it. HOnestly I'm an awful eater and if I ever manage to lose all the weight I want it will be a miracle... I don't eat veggies except for corn, pickles and potatoes... so nothing even worth much! I've never ever liked it... it all tastes nasty to me and I'm not a big fish fan either... I like shrimp and crab and some tilapia... and the opa I had in Hawaii was awesome! But for the most part it all just tastes fishy to me and I can't get past that unfortunately.
Anyway, got in 60 min last night and 25 this morning so....

ive done 45 mins more but obviously that don't matter anymore
i don't mind having the salmon so i will do that one....i'm a massive fan of fish so no biggie lol!
good luck on the weigh in tomorrow. my weight is down today but still above last weeks so just hoping that its the same as last week....or lower hehe.

Sorry to let you down ladies, but my weight is up 1/2 lb. I don't get this. Supposedly with every article I read, it's cals in and cals out. But I am only eating 1400-1600 per day - maybe a little over. And even on a high day it only gets up to 1800.
My metabolism sucks!
I managed to squeeze out 2.2 pounds this week... hopefully that will help us! And no matter what, we're all still trying really hard so even if we don't win this challenge, we still win anyway
