Got in 40 min. on the treadmill and 30 min. on the elliptical.

Team Total = 745/1005 mins
 
WTG Angel with all of that exercise! I'm right behind you with 4 hrs. I'd better see some changes after all of this exercise! My goals on sparkpeople for the whole week was like a total of 150 min.! And usually, I'd get just a little over that amount...now I'm blowing that "goal" away!

BG - I agree with Angel, use the same scale for consistency with your weigh ins during the challenge. And good for you for getting in 55 min. even when you didn't feel well!

good job ladies...we are nearly at the target. i've gotta say i wont be seeing a loss this week...got the worst case of water retention ugh! i'm sorry hope it doesn't get us chucked out.

Alright- gym totally kicked my ass last night but I feel great (although I want to bend myself into a pretzel just to stretch all my muscles out this morning!). I digress. I got in 85 mins last night between my commute and the gym and then another 25 this morning so that totals 110 mins for a total of....

Team total = 855/1005 mins

I should have at least 85 to add tomorrow morning.
 
wooohooo! i see the 1000 around the corner. i did 85mins Cardio on elliptical/bike today...my weight better be down tomorrow!!!

Team total = 940/1005 mins

65 mins to go....i can only do 15 more mins otherwise i'm over the 50% ;)

Week 3—Rio to Vancouver 18hrs 50min. 6hrs17min per teammate if split evenly, and 9hrs25min would be 50%.

Hockey comes to mind when one thinks of Canada, of course, but I can’t make you play hockey, as you need people to play with, skates and an ice rink--and that would be very difficult for just about everyone but Jerome. :D Maple syrup is very Canadian, but most of you would enjoy eating that too much, and it's not very conducive to weight loss. :) Neither would eating Poutine (French fries with gravy and cheese curds—a Quebecois treat that I LOVE). :drool5:

So, as Vancouver’s a port city, fishing is a major industry there. And as fish is low-cal, a great source of lean protein and full of omega-3 fatty acids, here’s the Roadblock: Eat a lb (basically a half a kilo) of salmon (not canned) over the course of the week. Only one person per team has to do this.

next week.

ladies we need to up our excercise to 7hours each!!!!! ;)

and if one of you rather do th roadblosk you can otherwise lemme know. :) i'm ok to do it.

Wow you two ladies are really kicking some exercise booty!

Angel - I might not see a loss this week either. I only saw 164 once and that was weigh-in day. And now it's back up to 165. But that seems to be how my life goes. I'm hoping that by Friday it will be back down at least to 164. I'm still going for goal of 6 hrs. So I've got to get in two more hours. If you want to do more exercise, you go ahead. I'm sure that BG and I will get in our allotted time so that it won't matter if you really, really, really want to exercise more. :p But if I were you I'd just take a break for a day. :)

BG - you are doing great getting all those min. in. I need to go exercise tonight, but I'm very tired. I might just do some ddr. Relieve some stress, exercise, and have fun. :D

I like salmon - so it's fine by me to eat it. Just don't want to be the roadblock hog since I completed the capoiera this week.

haha i think i wil do more excercise tomorrow cos i really wnat my weight to go down but i wont count it in the challenge cus none of us are allowed to do more tahn 50% for the challenge. good luck with the 6 hours. you'll get it in!

See I didn't realize we all had to do at least one roadblock. Good thing you are keeping me on my toes with all the ins and outs of this challenge!

Woot! We only need 5 more min! We have done awesome with this challenge - hope the scale agrees with us!
 
Hey Ladies!!! Angel, I think you are going to have to eat the salmon if you don't mind... I really don't like it. HOnestly I'm an awful eater and if I ever manage to lose all the weight I want it will be a miracle... I don't eat veggies except for corn, pickles and potatoes... so nothing even worth much! I've never ever liked it... it all tastes nasty to me and I'm not a big fish fan either... I like shrimp and crab and some tilapia... and the opa I had in Hawaii was awesome! But for the most part it all just tastes fishy to me and I can't get past that unfortunately.

Anyway, got in 60 min last night and 25 this morning so....

i don't mind having the salmon so i will do that one....i'm a massive fan of fish so no biggie lol!

good luck on the weigh in tomorrow. my weight is down today but still above last weeks so just hoping that its the same as last week....or lower hehe.

Yeah I hate fishy tasting fish too. But I don't mind salmon. Corn, pickles, and potatoes, eh? LOL Corn and potatoes are both starch. And I'm not sure pickles actually count as a veggie - or at least do much good as they are salty or sweet - both things we should avoid too much of.

I do eat a lot of veggies. So if we had a veggie challenge, I'm there for ya!

So does that mean I can take a break this evening with my exercise? LOL Just kidding! I need to exercise to see if the scale will move. Also, I won't be around this weekend as I'm going to my mom's, and not sure when or how much exercise I will be getting in. Of course I'm staying at a hotel with a fitness room so I should get something in - no excuses! Especially if I have to have 7 hrs in by the end of next Thurs!

Sorry to let you down ladies, but my weight is up 1/2 lb. :( I don't get this. Supposedly with every article I read, it's cals in and cals out. But I am only eating 1400-1600 per day - maybe a little over. And even on a high day it only gets up to 1800.

My metabolism sucks! :confused:

or its water retention, or its muscle, or its the scale being an idiot or its sodium, or its.... you get the picture. lol. its not your fault... :)

i think our excercise will get us through. i hope coz mine is only 0.4 loss.

I managed to squeeze out 2.2 pounds this week... hopefully that will help us! And no matter what, we're all still trying really hard so even if we don't win this challenge, we still win anyway:)
 
we've made it through the 2nd week! lets hope this week is a good weightloss week! lol!
