I didn't finish it last time... Maybe next time I'll do better... I need to get things a bit more together before I try

Hi, wondering if this is still open and if anyone still participates? If so I would love to join in. I would definitely pick drinking 12 glasses of water a day... for my first 21 days!

It certainly is still open. Its good to have you here Kryslove.
I am going to participate... I'll decide tomorrow morning what I'll aim to do... I'm certainly not strong willed enough to shoot for as many categories all at once like I did last time...

I am going to drink water too. I'll aim for 2 litres of water a day.
We can both post here each day and say whether we managed it or not and how close we came if we didn't.
We'll get there together. :hug2:

Day 1 - Monday 3rd - I had my 2 litres. I decided to opt for sparkling spring water to make life a little pleasanter... How did you do KrysLove?

Day 2 - Tuesday 4rd - I had my 1.5 litres of sparkling spring water plus 1 litre of still spring water while salsa dancing... 2.5 litres in total

Sorry I've been gone. However, I have done pretty well drinking more water. I am not up to where I want to be with it but.... Taking one day at a time. It's been stressful at work and so my mind has been with people who just lost their jobs. Besides that, I came down with a cold and my nose and lips are really dry... So trying to stay hydrated now for that! Ughhhhhhhhhhhh!!!

Well done with drinking more water KrysLove. 12 glasses is an awful lot for you to be shooting for. I couldn't do as many as that...

Sorry about the stress at work and the cold... It sounds like you are having a tough time... Well done for continuing to work hard on your weight in difficult times...

Day 4 - Thursday 6th - I had my 2 litres of bottled water.
Day 5 - Friday 7th - I had my 2 litres of bottled water.
Day 6 - Saturday 8th - I had my 2 litres of bottled water plus a glass of water at a friend's house.

Day 8 - Monday 10th - I had 2 litres of bottled water.
Day 9 - Tuesday 11th - I had 2 litres of bottled water.

Day 10 - Wednesday 12th - I had 2 litres of bottled water.
Day 11 - Thursday 13th - I had 2 litres of bottled water.

Day 13 - Saturday 15th - I had 2 litres of bottled water
Day 14 - Sunday 16th - I had 2 litres of bottled water.
Day 15 - Monday 17th - I had 2 litres of bottled water.
Day 16 - Tuesday 18th - I had 3 litres of bottled water.
Day 17 - Wednesday 19th - I had 2 litres of bottled water.
Day 18 - Thursday 20th - I had 3 litres of bottled water.
Day 19 - Friday 21st - I had 2 litres of bottled water
Day 20 - Saturday 22nd - I had 2 litres of bottled water
Day 21 - Sunday 23rd - I had 2 litres of bottled water.

I've actually kept on doing it every day since then too - so it seems nicely in place...

I'll have a think about what I'm slipping up most with to find the best thing to work on next

This was a great club

I'm going to think about the best thing for me to work on over the next 21 days...

I've been thinking about this...
For the past 3 months of lockdown my salsa teacher (who used to be my Zumba teacher) has been showing a burst of 4 live tracks of Zumba on FB on most weekdays...
It has disappeared often later that day - just a gift for friends stuck in the house at 10am that morning.
It has been really nice as friends have logged in and been watching and commenting with you so there has been social contact of sorts...

I have tried to do it every day - although I am far from "Zumba-fit".
He has announced that he will not be doing any more after this Friday.

Luckily, I have managed to download a few to FB... I only just worked out how to do it last week...

Since, under normal circumstances I would stop doing this and do not want to... I want to make a regular event every day - not just an event on most weekdays which is coming to an end...

My 21 day challenge - starting tomorrow will be to do a burst of 4 zumba tracks every day. If I can do more, that would be better - but it has to be remembered that I am a cuddly 60 year old...

I would ideally like to get fitter so that I could do a whole hour of zumba once lockdown is over. I gave it up after I got injured a few years ago - but suspect that my weight is currently a bigger issue in not being able to do much.
This would be very good as I suspect that zumba will return before salsa does as salsa is a partnered dance and will be probably be slower to return from lockdown.

Since the inside of my house is not exactly dance friendly (being carpeted), it involves me putting down 3 offcut strips of vinyl flooring taped together onto the living room floor and sprinkling with powder to make it slippy... Then doing the zumba in my socks! It would be easy to get lazy and stop.

Respect for your creativity! Doing some kind of exercise, even for just a little while at moderate intensity, can make a big difference.

Thanks ladies

At first - I tried on the carpet and that with or without various shoes and always seemed to get stuck on the carpet. Dance shoes (suede soled) didn't work either... This is the best solution that I've found so far... I feel a bit eccentric doing it though...
