so no loss for me this week :( it sucks, but theres always next week! I'll get the bonus points week 3 to, I just barely missed the extra hour of exercise, dammit! I predict that once I'm done with my kitchen the gym will be seeing a WHOLE lot more of me.
 
Note from the rules thread, ambalove has been eliminated and Team Sweet Cheeks' remaining no-shows have been eliminated as well. Next week will get ugly! Come on girls and boy, we need you ALL to pull your weight for the team so we dont have to lose any players.

The team with the most remaining players at the end of the challenge (as adjusted for number of eliminated no-shows in Weeks 1 and 2) will get an additional 100 points added to their total scores (made up all of all non-eliminated players points) before it is divided by the number of remaining players. So some added incentive to get our teammates to play along!

There will be a winning team, and the highest scorer from the winning team will be Grand Winner. The team member of the losing team with the highest score will be the Most Valuable Player.

I've had 1830 calories today but I am STARVING. ARRRRGGGGGGGHHH. And I didn't even exercise. Its re-feed time but I'm trying to resist, though I still stuck below my calorie goal last week despite my two high days. I lost plenty of weight that way before so I hope it'll work again??

I plan to hit the gym tomorrow at lunch.

End of the day leaves me at only 1300 some cals...and I ran for 30 mins on the mill so my deficit is somewhere in the 1200 range... I'm afraid I'm at a cross-roads ladies and man... some place I don't think Ive been before oddly... you would think that after 10 years of this I would hit a plataue at some point. I was so wishy washy in my early years that I didnt keep track like I do now... But I've been losing consistantly since 2006 so Ive gone over 2 years without one.... I guess its my time.

For now I'm just going to continue on like normal... Steve is helping with some possible ideas to get me down my last 15 or so pounds. I feel like Ive done really good and I need to just relax and be patient.

Im down 4.2 lbs...I sure hope my scale is right, i kept re stepping on it and got my aunt and my daughter to weight themselves and let me know if it was right, LOL!

AWESOME!!! I know what you mean I did that this morning when it said 231.. lol I was like really lol and stepped on it like 5 times.. hehe BUT GREAT JOB!!!!

I followed my water plan and my food plan today but no exercise. I'll get my time in tomorrow!
 
Okay, so last week I was crap (hubbie's birthday, no plan...). I did try to catch up with exercise, but forgot that I wouldn't have any personal time the last day of last week. I did, however, download a bunch of videos to my streaming Netflix, so I'm all set and ready for right now. Yesterday was Justin's actual birthday, but I stayed under calories by controlling portions. Today I'm going for it! I'm going to work in 20 minutes before school, then come home and finish up with a video.

Okay for the challenge this week... Are we all drinking enough water? I know I don't always pay as much attention to it as I should, particularly where i don't track it against my daily calories. I exercise quite a bit though and I lose a lot from perspiration. This suggestion was originally made by Priti.
So...

Lets all try to drink enough water, every day.

Take this quiz to find your target amount:


Please pay special attention to the last page. In this it assumes that you are eating healthy (we are right?), and water in our food accounts for 20 %.

In my case this comes out to 158 oz minus 20% = 1 gallon (assuming 30 minutes of exercise per day). The last page will give both the total and the corrected water per day.

lets not get too carried away though. Find an amount for your average exercise level and stick to it every day, all week.

Sorry for the dumb question. How many points is this worth? I'm adding this to the "bonus challenges" tab in the spreadsheet for quick reference. Is a point per day or an all or nothing point value at the end of the week? Can anyone help?

k so quick update. yesterday somehow i managed to come in at around 1586 calories even with a few drinks... yeah i'm not sure how either... i replaced my afternoon sandwhich which is about 350 calories with 1/2c. of rice with grean pepeer and onions wich is 170 in total so that helped out. and snacking was down to a minimum i had two 100 calorie granola bars and a banana...

as for this water challenge bit... apparently im to be drinking 5 bottles (500ml each) a day... I think after 5 bottled i feel pretty water logged usually its about 3 throughout the day and maybe one or half of one at night while laying in bed watching tv at night... so yeah i'm going to give it a shot but essentially if throughout the day i'm feeling too watered down its not going to happen
 
Cassy, you can look up some other water information sites and find out what is the generally acceptable amount of water for your weight if that sounds unreasonably high.
 
SO - I have pulled mucels in my thighs right above my knee caps.It isnt as bad as it was yesturday but it still hurts like a son of a bitch...SItting downa nd then standing back up and walking up and especially down stairs is very hard and painful, Im even afraid of doing Yoga, afraid of not being able to get back up and afraid of getting stuck in a pose cuz of my w/e is going on...Im gonna rest another day...hopefully I can attend boot cmap on Thurs and Fri...

I think with all the exercise I have been doing (did 7 hrs last week) and the fact that i believe I exercised every single day with out a break and the 40 min walk/run...that boot camp was just the icing on the cake on Monday night...

I think it was every thing combined or I wonder if the running could have done something...I ran on the treadmill before for 30 mins at a walk/run rotating around every min to 2 mins...then I ran for 9 mins at boot cmap same way on and off walking/jogging...

Maybe big fat combo of everyhting....

What i do know is Im not going to boot camp and I am not exercising till it hurts less...

Boot camp by the way was the fitness tests...then it was all lunges , we di dlunge squats with 5 lbs weights and must have done well over 100 of those, we did squats weaving the weights in and out of our legs like a figure 8 while sitting in a lunge...my guess would be about 100 and then we were running to the pylons and doing jumping jacks we did 120 jumping jacks in total and half burpies prob at least 60 of those...

So ya Ive toasted myself, Boot Camp was the icing on the cake appearantly.

BUT I am Down 4.2 lbs this week:DAnd I have lost 14 lbs since dec.1!!!

I'm definitely in this for the long haul. I truly thank you all, especially Claudia and Melissa, from the bottom of my heart :beating: for making my diet possible. I honestly think of my team and my 10 points when I want to snack on something that would get me over my eating plan. I very much believe that with this challenge I'll see the 130s again, maybe even before February! And I've already lost 4 pounds and feel great--skinny, even, but not "bad skinny." It seems stupid, maybe, but I have a sense of accomplishment and am proud for beating my appetite and tendency to over-eat and indulge. And cheesily enough, yes, it's because of you :grouphug:
