Thanks!! I have been *really* trying to push up my weights. The last two days have been kickin' my butt....lol.... but I'm going to push thru it.

Also starting to put some ab work in there....going to rotate different abs exercises either everyday or every other day.....Still playing around with how much I can do....

are you mainly focusing on weights and not cardio, or do you currently also incorporate some cardio? i'm just curious. and if so, how often each week? i think you're doing awesome!

Ahhhhhh! I know! I know! I totally *need* to incorporate cardio into my routine but I just haven't been able to motivate myself to do it yet!! *UGH*

We (my hubby and I- we work out together) have been talking about doing some circuit training, or boxing days. I am *so burnt* on running/incline on the treadmill :rolleyes: .

When the kids go back to school in a couple of weeks, we will go for walks!

i hear ya. the treadmill gets boring quick. i have the same problem with it. i have cardio dvd's for when i get sick of the treadmill. then i just switch back and forth so i don't get too bored of one thing. for a while all i did was cardio b/c i got sick of weight training. so i had done the opposite of what you're doing, but now i'm trying to do both. your weight training looks awesome though!

lol, yeah that's how I was before I got my hernia, more cardio than anything. I think it was because It would hurt when I lifted...(probably cause I was straining my belly....lol)

I could jog easily, and was able to do quite a bit. But I am really enjoying the weights this time and I have new goals, so my focus will definitely be on lifting and increasing the weight but with *some* cardio.

Thank you Johnny! :) like I said, I'm really trying to push myself. It has been a long time since I have been able to really workout.

and I have to say.....the dumbell squats actually are what really did a number on me! Pushing up 70 lbs, and balancing those suckers was a toll! lol.....:D
 
The new gym mirror is up!

We finally got the mirror installed so we can see what the hell we are doing! *yippie*....lol

No more leaning little mirrors against the wall!
