Veery true... :) My endeavor to keep myself moving forward and making progress. Thankfully I was only prevented from workout for a week, but not being able to lift at my heaviest (which already wasn't much) is frustrating.... lol

today I took another day off....I know...lazy...*but* I wasn't being lazy! It was time constraints! Comcast had to come and fix my DVR box for the *umpteenth* time! By the time he was done, I had to get ready for my tattoo consult...yeah, another one :)

This is being done by a different artist and we needed to chat... I *just* got back about 30 minutes ago, and I'm *starving*...lol

Well, who knows, might get the itch to workout this evening....or not....LOL

NLL, i'm really considering getting a tattoo soon. I've always wanted one but i'm waiting a few more months to save up the money and be where i want to be physically.

I always have these cool ideas (awesome ideas really) for tats. my question to you is this. how do you pick your tattoos? i mean does it HAVE to mean something for you not to regret it? or have you gotten a cool idea, got the tattoo and loved it forever?

I don't think a tattoo has to have some *deep* meaning for a person to want to have one. Sometimes the image or idea that the person and the artist conceive is really fantastic. A big part (obviously) is finding a talented artist who understands what you want and you understand what he can do. I get ideas from a lot of things.....I *love* art, so I am always seeing new artists work, reading things that inspire me, or maybe I will just get an idea. I got my first tattoo 21 years ago and I still love it :) It's small, but at the time it was all I could afford....It's like having a little memento of that time...lol

Just make sure you know what you want, and you throughly research the artist that you choose.....

TOdays workout so far consist of hubby and I cleaning up the yard. This is no small task mind you, I'm talking an acre of unkept land with about 45+ trees over 150 ft tall. We also have a couple of ornamental trees, some smaller ones, a very larger wisteria growing on one side of the house, with a couple of *huge* climbing rose bushes. I've spent the first couple of hours cutting back the rose bushes and the wisteria. Also weed whacked around the house and did a sweep of the eves, and the porches to prepare it for a bug spraying.

taking a short break to eat and get some water...lol

Hubby is going to start chipping and shredding, while I do a quick weed wacking of the front of the house down along the rock wall.....

I may still workout in the gym later, but we'll see.......
 
Had to keep it short and sweet. *Really* sore from all the hard labor yesterday, so just did an hour of cardio incline. 13 degrees, @ 5mph...

gottta go run errands....Weights start again tomorrow :)
