I also lost a couple of pounds just before this challange started. At first I figured I'd use them to include in my total (so I'd only have 6 instead of 8 to go) but to be honest with myself, I'll change my "start weight" to what it should be. =)
Starting Weight on Nov.1: 140
Week 1 Nov. 10: 138
Week 2 Nov. 17
Week 3 Nov. 24
Week 4 Nov. 30
Final Weight on November 30:
Weight Goal for challenge (lbs lost)= 8lbs.

And I haven't figured out how to get my ticker to move...

delete the image in your sig, then remake it on ticker factory and then paste in the new one :)
 
Day one of november and I burnt 450 cals at the gym. Not a bad start to the challenge.

How did everybody else's day go? :D
 
Mine is going pretty good Sprite, congrats on those calories burned!!! I havent worked out today, but I hope I do!!! :)

So we are suppose to weigh in every wednsday?? or next weeek starting on thursday( Cause the 30th lands on a thursday). Or it is just are preffence?? Just curious:D

hello fellow challengers!!! i also have weight loss to report - only 1lb different to start me off at 187, but that means a 6lb total loss for me in two and a half weeks so i'm happy with that!!! PLUS if i make it to 177 by the end of this, i'll be absolutely thrilled.

for the miles thing - i bike to work and back every day (three days a week) for a total of 5 miles. does that count too? or do you just total up a half hour of exercise as a mile, because it takes about a half hour to 40 minutes total. *shrug* then on my off days i run three miles! looking forward to contributing to the 500 :D

for the challenge i'm thinking of kicking up my workout a bit and going to the gym on days that i'm not running (i'm doing the couch to 5k program so i have days where i bike and run, but then i have some days where i'm not working and i'm done my C25K for the week so i have 'off'). think i'll take those days off and hit up the gym downstairs!!

hope everyone has a fabulous nov 1st - stay away from the leftover halloween candy!! ;) (thank god we were terribly unfestive this year plus we live in an apartment complex where no kids trick or treat. . . .no temptations for me!!)
 
I am actually cheating and sticking to my weigh-ins on Sundays, although technically that is a couple of days before we are supposed to weigh ourselves. (This is because I am trying not to step on the scale more than my once a week.)

I enjoy my walks but it's got really cold now, it's about 2 degrees out and I feel the cold a lot... I'm hating going outside at all at the moment so long walks are out of the question.

Thank the lord for the gym/pool/workout dvds. :D
 
I did half my ab work just now; the rest come at the gym after supper. I'm also going for a walk with a friend in 2 hours. I am aiming for at least 10 min. on the elliptical...on Monday I barely made 5 minutes. Dont' know why my legs were so tired. :(

I know the feeling well... how frustrating it is when you are motivated and eager to work out and your muscles feel like you've been beaten up for no apparent reason. :(
 
Sounds like everyone's having a great first day!!! I weighed in at 173 (wahoo!). I was 173.5 yesterday and even had 5 pieces of Halloween Candy---so yeah for the metabolism being in high gear!!

29 days to go!

Oh Man I here ya Tammy:( Work kicked my butt today...man, oh man, oh man...no exercise for me today..it sux too, maybe some Yoga if I can fit it in but it is already 6ish here and I still gottta do dinner and such...LOL...I wish the challenege started on Mon, I did so much exercise on Mon and went on a hefty walk yesturday but oh well...It will just be a not so great exercise week for me...Glad to hear and see others are off to such a great start:)
