Nae82 - Trying to stay on track

I just ordered the book, so i'll be taking a look at it as soon as it comes in. i'll probably actually start it in a few weeks.

yesterday i did a fbw. today will be just cardo. tomorrow another fbw. rest on sunday and get back to the push pull split on Monday.

my numbers dropped slightly, which sucks, but I expected it. I'm also having to re-hydrate. I DEF did not drink enough water while out in the Florida sun.

I know - I'm on my week break between programs (between Fat Loss I and Fat Loss II) so I'm wondering what I'm going to feel like when I hit FL2 on Monday. But I have to say I do like the progression - the BreakIn workout is definitely the place to start, but FL1 was definitely a nice progression from it, with using 3 sets instead of 2, and other added challenges like the bulgarian split squats and lateral ball rolls. FL2 takes FL1 and kicks it up a notch - varying the exercises and adding challenges (bulgarian split squat plus overhead press) so it looks like (once I'm able to do it right) that I'll have a greater sense of accomplishment. I hope the same is true for you when you start doing the workouts.
 
you get a break? that's interesting. i doubt i could control myself . .
 
i finally feel like i had a great workout yesterday. this is the first time i've felt this way since i've been back from vacation. i had the pull part of my split. today is just cardio. i usually dread cardio day, but after yesterdays w/o i'm pumped and ready to go.

hey sugar! do you hit the cardio twice in the same day? Maybe a dumb question with how petite you are, but I wanted to make sure. Carolyn is tripping on it a bit. Probably just sniveling though! - you know how chicks can be. hahahaha

a break can be a good thing every now and then.

I needed one - trust me. I was burnt out by FL1 and needed the time to regroup my physical and mental assets. By the time FL2 rolled around I was definitely ready to start it.

And, more up to date... how'd the BSS+OHP go? :)

i hear ya! i usually take a break for a few days each time i change my routine.

and for the bss+ohp.. that might need to go in the funniest thing you've seen in the gym thread lol.. ok it wasnt that bad.. i did on set with no weight just to get the movement down, then graduated to 10lb dbs.. then i did one set with 15lb bd's and thought i was going to die lol.. may have a new favorite exercise.

i convinced a friend to go to the gym with me last night. she did my entire routine with no complains, i was so proud.. sweatin like a dog.. afterwards, she purchashed a membership :)

If you want the FULL effect. Get a copy of NROL and do the full workout. It's a killer.

lol. i texted her this morning but she hasnt responded yet. i hope she made it to work lol..

i must specify.. she did regular bss without the ohp.. and with lower weight, but i must still say that i'm proud since she hasnt seen a gym in probably 5+ years and lives off of beer and pizza.

Wow - you killed her lol... Well... at the very least she's cussin' up a storm in your direction. lol

lol.. she said she was sore, but it wasn't as bad as she thought it was going to be. i'm about to set her up with a fbw routine though.. we'll see how she likes that lol
 
yesterday:

squats: 3x6 @ 125lbs
db bench: 3x8 @ 30lbs each
db military press: 3x8 @ 20lbs each
dips: 2x8 assisted @ 20lbs 1x6 body weight
threw in some light lunges.. 4x10 w/ 15lb dbs

15 mins stationary bike

I think it's the lighting - if you had a lightsource behind the camera I don't think it'd be an issue. Either way though you're looking great.
