Nae82 - Trying to stay on track

This may be a situation where using machines at first might be warranted.

I agree some beginner are extremely uncoordinated and would benefit a lot more to start strength training on machines Tell when they have built up enough strength should be slowly broken into free weight exercises

Well I was thinking that it'd be a way for Nae to get her friend into the gym with the least amount of effort/worry on her part. If the friend sticks with it she can graduate to free weights (and get a personal trainer rather than relying on Nae to teach her). Mostly it's a question of getting over herself and just doing it. I know how strong that reluctance is because I've faced it myself, but it just has to be done.

And of course, Happy Birfday Nae :)

Nae! Happy happy chica! AH to be 25 again. lol. just kidding. Hope you have a fantastic day!

Thanks Sparrow and Dave. :D

I don't remember a whole lot about this past weekend, but I didn't touch the gym at all.. drank way too much, and ate a bunch of junk.

Oh well, today is a new day...

Thanks Chillen. :)

Yesterday was my "push" day. I moved up to 35lb dbs for my chest press. (4x6) and 13lbs for squat (4x6)

I start my weight training class today, so I'm pretty excited about that.

I must confess, I had chinese food for lunch.

Chinese food can have some good selections. You must profess what you did not define in your confess! Unless, you made Progress and was Noblesse and did not eat in Excess!

LOL.

Whats so bad? Fess up.

Actual chinese food is alot different than chinese food served at restuarants in America.

I did hear somewhere that general tsao's chicken, and even veggies ahve waay too much sodium in them and can be really bad for you. Whether or not it's true, i don't know, but be careful.

LOL.. I had sweet and sour chicken and had brown rice instead of fried rice. i hardly ate any sauce... and only ate a little bit, so it wasnt all THAT bad i guess, but the so called chicken was fried.

Your Chinese? Lol, never would have guessed.
