I have learned not to do these things ..its very difficult to stop ..but by stopping I am seeing the benefits ..my stomach is smaller and so is my butt!

I think I'm going to start my own weekly points challenge

I'm playing along at home with the BL challenge. (Good thing, too, since I'd have been out the first week - I didn't go overboard over the holidays, so was unwilling to completely give up the treats I build into my plan.)
 
what exactly do you mean playing along with the bl challenge at home ally? anyways. i'm doing good. today so far i have had breakfast, a shake for snacktime and am getting ready to make lunch here soon so i can get my little boy down for his nap before it gets too late. haha yeah right he hates naptime. hope to get in some form of exercise today besides cleaning house.. but not sure since my son is sick so we can't take him to daycare.
 
what exactly do you mean playing along with the bl challenge at home

I keep up well enough to know what the weekly bonuses are, and count up my points for the weight loss / exercise / bonus. This week's bonus is to eat 25g of fiber a day. To get max exercise points, you need 5 hours a week.

Last week, I would have gotten 39 points, although if I'd really been participating, I'd have gotten more like 47 - I had a cookie and a chocolate square two of the days that I would have skipped if I got points, but didn't skip because I had calories left.

Since I'm going to have surgery done to my jaw tomorrow, I'll not be here to post my results on thursday. So, I'll post them today.

January 03: 87.2 kg i.e. 192.2 lbs
January 10: 85.3 i.e. 188 lbs
January 15: 84.4kg i.e. 186 lbs

1kg (2lbs) down! I'm pretty pleased with myself :D

Wow the second week came to an end.. can't believe how fast it goes. Since I have been sporting a gain (yes, a gain) since last Thursday, I am not sure how my weigh-in will go tomorrow. I kept my calories between 1350-1400 for the most part and exercised twice a day. An easy jog in the morning for about 25 min and about 1 hr 15min every night in the gym.
I was shocked to see the scale moving steadily upward since last Thursday... then it started going down yesterday but still higher than my last weigh in. Oh, well I know i did my best the rest is just have to catch up with me

I'm down to 288.0 for the moment ...might be water weight ...but I am getting there! I haven't been this low for a VERY Long time!

wow.. wtg natalie jo. congrats on being this low. i know how it feels. i weighed in this morning at 230 even and i haven't been this low in years. i weighed 220 when i got pregnant with my son in 2003 so hopefully thats a good sign.. hahah..

India- congrats on the loss and good luck with the jaw surgery.

Hajni- don't worry about the temporary gain. i'm sure the loss will catch up with you soon. sometimes the scales just don't show what we want them too.

and for everyone else.. hope you all are doing great. i can't wait for tomorrow's weigh in. I'm hoping to be below the magic number of 230.. but even if i weigh in at 230 i'll be happy.

Hoping for a good weigh in tomorrow for everyone!! I have been sick this week with some chest and head cold geez...I have not been sick like this since I was a child!! I haven't really been eating so great or eating very often, but I am still hoping for a weight loss tomorrow...as I always hope for that ;)

:grouphug: Curvesahead I am sure those three pounds will come off like butter!! You know, this man said that on the radio one day...that when we lose one pound we think of it like nothing or even half of a pound, but just imagine that every time u lose a pound, a pound of butter melts off of you. Pretty gross but pretty cool at the same time :coolgleamA: So... I'm hoping you lose two sticks of butter tomorrow ;)

Hoping that you also get below that magic number Heather!!

Jan 3rd: 175lbs 14lbs to lose
Jan 10th: 174lbs 13lbs to lose
Jan 17th: 175lbs 14lbs to lose :):)()

Oh dear. I think my gain is actually muscle though as I've been working hard in the gym and really feeling the ache on my muscles each time. Keeping positive though... gonna get those lbs off sooner or later. :)

Updated my stats on page 9.

After a 3 pound gain last week (eek), I'm down 1 pound this week.

It's not much, but at least the scale is going down instead of up!

I was showing a gain all the way up until Tue. So at this point I am extremely happy for the 1 lb loss!!!! I worked hard for this and seeing a drop even if it is small just made me more determined!!!

Wulsk : I was around your weight when I hit a plateu earlier last year. It took me 3-4 weeks to break through, I hope it will take you a lot less!!!! Just keep on doing what you are doing and it will start coming off again.

Curvesahead: Congrats on the 1 lb down!!! Anything that has to do with the scale moving down is good!! LOL

To all who lost this week : congrats!!! To all who maintained : congrats and I am sure you are going to see a drop next week!!! To all who gained: don't forget about the fluctuations and water retention and possible salty food the day before.... Keep on going and look ahead to next week!!!!
