My Online Weight Journal - comments welcome

Thanks guys. I have done that before and figured it to be right around 1500 that I need to eat ea day to lose weight. I just have to sit down and write things down and really count the cals. Im so bad about that. I try to keep a running total in my head, but you know how that is.....

On a bright note to start my day: I LOST ANOTHER 2 POUNDS!!! :eek:

I'm still in shock! I'm so happy!!! FINALLY seeing real results! And did I tell you: I got a beep and a wave the other day on my run. And today at the store, I got a wink!!! :D Gotta love that! :D

Today so far:

L: rice,broccoli & cheese dish (270)
mini butterfinger bar :)eek: ) (est. 100)

not too bad today, although I didn't eat B. Oh well. I will just eat more this afternoon, or save the cals for dinner.

I am just on cloud nine.....I LOST 2 POUNDS!!! *does the happy dance!*

hey about the HIIT and being light headed. I get that sometimes too and its always if I'm dehydrated. I don't know about you but I sweat like a pig during HIIT and often underestimate my water needs. That particular day I bet you had a lot of sodium in your system too from the processed foods so that was most likely it. When I know I'm going to do a HIIT workout I hydrate way before, even prepare the night before with the water if I'm doing it in the morning. Then I have way better success

Ok, so today was a bit off. I didn't get up until about 10 so I didn't eat all morning. :eek: Then I ate lunch at 1pm or so and it was a grilled cheese sand. and a small bag of cheese nips. :eek: THEN I didn't eat again until about 4.30 and it was a small can of pringles and a small bag of vienna creme cookies. :eek: I was so bad. I can't even tell you. BUTT despite all that, I still felt thin and even got a whistle today when I wore a miniskirt. :) At least I am getting attention. :D

Another day started off wrong. I woke up late for church, so I didn't have time to eat anything before I left, so I grabbed a 100cal pack of teddy grahams and that was breakfast and snack. For lunch I had a salad with chicken. REALLY wanted a brownie, but I stopped myself :D.
 
I'm sooo happy that you're getting it together. Your attitude has completely changed. Keep up the good work so you can get more winks:D
 
Thanks She and College!!! I'm really trying...ok, except for this weekend. Do you think it will kill the results (weight loss) I have seen so far??? God, I hope not. I counted cals today and I was about 30 cals below where my target is. :)

College: no, hubby wasn't around. LOL

Today:

B: 100 cal pack (100)
S: bag of mini chips ahoy (170)
L: Salad with chicken (315)
S: couple sugar cookies with frosting :)mad: 460)
D: 2 eggs (70)

And I also had another 440 cals somewhere....I can't remember now, but I wrote the cals down, so I know I ate something. LOL
 
Your doing good w/writing the cals down. It just goes to prove how much junk we eat and not know it. Don't worry about the bad stuff, it happens. Just keep doing the cal thing and you shouldn't have any problem.
 
I doubt one weekend will make you gain an obscene amount of weight, though I know like it probably feels like it now! It's just a minor setback, just keep with your routine.

:mad: Lost my post before I was done...

Ran an extra mile and half today, so I brought it up to 4.5 miles. I did it in less than 45 mins! :D And I got a nice long look today! YEEHAW!!!

B: 2 eggs and taost with pb (170)
S: goldfish and 2 donut holes (200)
L: Salad with chicken (195)
S: will be rice, broccoli and cheese (270)
S2: frosting (oops!) 300

Hope that will help with the weight loss this week (minus the frosting). I weighed last night and was up to 131, but I'm hoping it was just bc I haven't been drinking water the last two days and since today I am back on a roll, I hope that I will reduce the weight even more.

That should reduce it. I wouldn't see why it wouldn't.
 
Plus you said you weighed at night? I'm always up 2 pounds at night from the morning

Considering during the day I weight 127 (or at least I did last week) I would hope that the 131 was 4 pounds off. LOL

For dinner, I had 2 baked potatoes with butter. Oh and a mini blueberry muffin. Combined that gave me another 400 +/- cals so I got where I needed to. However, I RESISTED ICE CREAM CAKE!!!! :D YAY FOR ME!!! LOL

Feeling really fat lately. This week. It started this weekend and continued. I hate that. U go off the routine one day and it screws u up for days...ok, it does me. I "measure" my success by feeling certain bones, etc. My collar bones and my hip bones. If I lay down and my belly is lower than my hip bones (i.e. the hip bones stick up higher) then I feel like I'm doing well. Well, I tried that test last night and it was about even. I hate that. :mad:

Anyway, that's where I'm at....

Protein at every main meal! Good girl!:) I though of your splurge a week or so ago today when someone was buying oatmeal cream pies. I am now officially intrigued by them.

Ugh....I weighed this morning.... up to 130. I know I wasn't right on with diet this week, but jeez! 3 pounds in one week??? I'm hoping I just weighed myself too soon after using the bathroom. I will weigh in again tomorrow....
