B: 2 eggs, 1 slice toast with pb, milk
S: 2 - 100 cal packs
L: turkey (shredded), roasted potatoes
S: 1 sugar cookie, no frosting

And I gained 3 pounds this week. I think I might weigh in again tomorrow to see if I change at all. God, I'm sooo tired today. I can't wait until bedtime!
 
Don't stress over it. You'll get it off. It might be water or muscle.

Had 2 eggs and 1 slice of toast with pb and milk for B. Haven't felt hungry since then. It's 1pm. Going to a cookout which is sure to sabbotage my diet. :mad: REALLY hott here. ick.

It's really hot here too. Don't want to be outside unless I have to. I hope your cookout turns out good. Don't worry about what happens toinight food wise, but just try to limit what you eat and not completely stuff yourself. I know it's hard to do, but you'll feel better if you do.
 
I did pretty well I think. I refrained from having soda and dessert :). I had a hamburger that really wasn't all that good and I had an ear of corn and a small bag of chips which I shared with my dtr. When I got home, I had a cheese stick and then after my nap oustide, I had a popsicle. I'm really hungry, but I'm wondering if maybe it's just thirst, so I'm going to get my water. I plan on having a salad tonight for dinner.
 
I know what you mean - we are spending next week with my husband's family at the lake and I know it will be difficult to stick to my plan. It sounds like you did great given the circumstances. Hopefully the salad tonight will satiate you:)

A small story - I weighed myself during the week and came out at 256. The next day I had to adjust my heart rate monitor strap so as to make it smaller. I stepped on the scale and it said 258.5. I'd stayed constant with my food plan, and my workouts, and weighed in under the same time and conditions. Did I give a crap about what the scale said? Nope. Because I knew I'd gotten smaller due to the adjustment of the strap. Point being, weight fluctuates - focus on ability and what your clothes tell you rather than what a number on a scale tells ya.
 
Thank you all. And yes, I do feel good that I didn't stuff myself. I'm pretty hungry right now, but as soon as I pack for my Loudon trip tomorrow (NHIS here I come!) I'm hitting the hay.
 
I keep telling everyone to throw those damn scales in the trash, but no one listens Jeesh

We don't throw them out because we are psychologically addicted to them. We must know how much we weight every day to see if we lost/gained weight. It's true that I usually weigh myself every morning, but I don't freak out if I've lost/gained. I try to remember the numbers and get a good range of my weight.

Greene had told somebody on here to weigh yourself for a week then divide by 7 and that should get your weight.

Loudon was awesome!!!! LOVE IT!!! I was soooo hott though. I got burnt, but man it was sooo worth it. :)

Today:

B: 2 eggs (75)
S: 100 cal pack of cheese its (100)
L: salad with chicken, 100 cal pack of teddy grahams (295)
S: nothing yet....thinking of...peanuts, cheese stick and another 100 cal pack (340)
D: not sure yet......perhaps spaghetti & corn muffins

This week, I workout in the evenings....ick. I hate gathering up the motivation to do that at night. It sucks.

S: not sure what I will have there, but I'm sure an apple will be involved. (??)

It looks like I am not eating enough though. I was haivng a hard time staying under 250 per meal, now I have a hard time getting there! hmmm...wonder why I gained last week then....

Anyway....it's hott today. Again. Waiting for the "severe t-storms" to roll on through.
 
It does sound like all your food choices were on track, but I agree, that doesn't seem like a lot of food?! What's your calorie goal for the day?
 
I try to stay at 1500 ea day. But lately, I think I haven't quite met that. I'm working on it. And last night I did another 4.5 miles. WOOHOO!!! God, I love running!

Today:
B: 2eggs, 2 slices of toast with jelly (315)

That's it so far. Part of the problem is I dont feel like eating much these days. And I hate forcing myself to eat. I would prefer to skip a snack and eat a bigger lunch or dinner sometimes. But I really do try to eat every 2-3 hrs. SOMETHING, even if it is only 75 cals.
 
Agreed - that recommended calorie number is just a guideline, not set in stone. Listen to what your body wants and feed it accordingly.
