My Online Weight Journal - comments welcome

We don't have it often and boy, was it yummy! :)

Well, had my show today. It went well. Not as well as I had hoped, but well enough. I managed two 2nd place finishes and two 3rd place finishes. I'm so exhausted, I can barely keep my eyes open...so I had to come on here and try to keep myself awake another 30 mins or so...Not to mention Dan shared his nasty cold with me, so I have had a headache all day as well as a scratchy throat, kinda stuffy nose, etc. I'm so ready for bed. I was at the barn for a good 6 hrs today....THAT was not planned. My trainer said that should be there at 10:30, thinking not too many people would show up...she had a great turnout...all the classes took forever, so I didn't end up getting on until close to 3. My poor hubby....being REALLY sick and having to watch 3 little kids and entertain his 14 year old. I feel so bad.

Ah he played Mr. Mom!!

Yes, and I felt so bad. I really thought I would only be gone a few hours. Not all day. He's out right now. But man...gotta tell ya...going over those fences....AWESOME! :D

LOL I do get me time a couple times per week: therapy and riding...sometimes 3x per week, when I work at the barn. This week, I work there 2x so I will get some extra $. THAT will be nice. I spent almost all of my $ on horse show attire and then the show itself. I'm saving my $ so that I can show this summer. I figure one show per month won't kill me financially...I hope. If I can save my $ and only do one per month, that should be good. Of course, that also means that I can only do local shows...which can be good and it also means smaller shows, with less competition. It's great getting 2nds and 3rds, but it means more if there are more than 4 in a class.

Ugh...I feel like shi!t today. My head is throbbing, I'm all congested....thanks, honey for sharing your cold. He's home today. My oldest is home today. We sound like a friggin infirmiry (sp?). :p BUT just bc I'm sick doesn't mean I will avoid working out. I plan on doing ST and then a half hour of cardio. I figure that since I'm sick, I will do a half hour ea day this week. Tuesday and Thursday will be HIIT days and the other two will be just plain steady half hour sessions. I'll forgo the hour long sessions...not sure I can handle that today. LOL

I'm also going to try and really eat well today. For breakfast, I had my oatmeal and apple and a half of a blueberry bagel. And I think eating later in the morning helps. I tend to be able to make it to lunch without too much effort. I think I will have some leftover lasagne today for lunch. YUM!

Still feeling ****ty. Wish we could just get better! UGH! I could so go to sleep right now.

in about an hour I'm gonna do HIIT - doing it early today bc my son has an appt at the dr's. Rather than wait to do it when I get back, I will just get it over with. Then I can watch my soap and relax a little before we leave.

B: oatmeal w/apple, half blueberry bagel

My triceps are a little sore today. :D

I just figure that unless I'm on my death bed, I can do at least a half an hour. :)

Hubby and oldest child are on an inhaler. Son is wheezing and hubby has a slight wheeze. Hopefully this will get them feeling better.

THanks, Tom.

Tomorrow, I work at the barn in the morning. Wondering what kind of workout I should do after that....any thoughts??

I'd go with aerobic training. I did some landscaping in my youth, and I'd definitely classify anything done with a shovel as strength training..though it's endurance work.

I like the whole "doing HIIT while you're still sick" bit. That's hawt. Keep pluggin'. :)

P.S. Did I already mention I never get sick? :p Muahahaha...get well soon. ^_^
