My Online Weight Journal - comments welcome

LOL you guys are funny. :D I took yesterday off and today is a standard rest day. As is tomorrow. I work at the barn again tomorrow. :D

I have been busy today and not home much. Still feeling kinda yucky, but not bad. Little concerned about hubby though...he's really got it bad. I wonder if he's got Mono. I had it really bad, so I'm not concerned with myself. It just sucks for him. If he can't work, I'm not sure what we will do. :eek: Anyone know of a website where you can plug in symptoms and can get a diagnosis? (I realize that I should seek a local professional, but I will have to wiat until Monday...just wnated some kind of info...)

Went to a funeral this morning. Friend of the family died this week. It was sad, as all funerals are want to be, but it was nice to see some friends I haven't seen in a while.

Didn't bother weighing in this morning. Felt fat, I will assume my weight gain from Wed still exists. Not to mention me eating like $h!t and having an extra day off training. I felt really thin this morning at the funeral since I didn't eat anything today until about 12:30 and when I ate then, it was an apple. :D Then it went all downhill. :eek:

Ok, gonna end here. It's only 8:55pm and I'm so ready for bed. :rolleyes: I will try to get on tomorrow, but not sure I will be able to. Busy day...

I'd not worry about weight with everything that's been going on... just take care of yourself, get better, and then get back to your normal routine...

Had kinda a scary moment this morning. It snowed about 6" last night and on my way to the barn this morning, I fishtailed and crossed the yellow line, slamming @$$ first into a snowbanking...about 2 ft from a telephone pole. :eek: I'm fine, but I think my van is a bit messed up. It shakes now if I go over 50. :mad: I'm thinking the tires are all f*cked up. Perhaps I need to get them rotated or something. Not sure...I'm no mechanic.

:eek: :eek: :eek: holly ****!! I am glad you ok. Definitely have the car check first thing before you drive it further. In the mean time, how bout work it out at home?

I'm pretty sure Kiria's suggesting you work out at home so as to not risk it with the shady transportation situation.

Hdsegal, let's set aside the obvious obnoxiousness for a moment and assume you're trying to be helpful in some misguided fashion. If you're going to call someone an idiot, you could at least have the decency to attempt to justify your comment. If we have no idea what you're referring to, your comment is (in addition to making it clear who the "idiot" is) not only a waste of your time, but ours as well.

I'm in full agreement with Kiria on this one, actually..that sounds very shady, the vehicle. Get it checked out, and in the meantime, do what you can at home. Aren't you still semi-sick, anyway? ^_^

hdsegal, one more comment: if you insist on calling someone an idiot or otherwise make rude comments, please do so by using the PM option. We have had plenty of DRAMA on this board. By using the PM option, you will refrain from dragging personal conflicts onto the board and keep it the way it's meant to be: informational and fun.

Focus: I agree. I will get it checked out. and as for my being sick, I'm getting much better. I'm concerned for hubby though. :(

Sheri - I drove the car today and it seemed fine. :)

I am having a really hard time resisting all that is bad. I have had cookies, ice cream, chips....ugh. I will start fresh tomorrow. Weekends are just too tempting for me. I can't handle it. This is why I won't meet my goal. If I can't get a grip on this, I will not only fall short of my goal, but I will gain even more weight. I HAVE to get my $h!t together and get focused.
 
Weekends are hard for all of us. I know you don't want to fail, but don't beat yourself up too bad. Just think of Monday's as a do over day, like Sparrow does. Also it would help if you have the recommended portions of the stuff you are eating and it would also help if you have half of them one time and the rest of it another time (i.e. pb has 2tbsp so eat 1 tbsp at one sitting and 1tbsp at another sitting).
 
You're right. I feel fat and I know what I should do, I just can't seem to get myself to do it. I will get it done right tomorrow. :)
