My Online Weight Journal - comments welcome

MMMM..bacon and eggs and where's mine?....:D

I've ended up with a cold...:( I'm hot and cold, sore throat, tired. Today is my day to work at the school, but I'm not going too. Don't want to make the kiddies sick, but hopefully I'll be better by the 20th. It's the Christmas party at the school.

Need to take Greene's car to get a muffler this morning, so he took my car. I've only drove his car couple times, boy this ought to be fun. Not there's nothing wrong with his car, other than the muffler.

LOL better than what I had for breakfast... (I won't tell ya what that is)

and by the way... if you're gonna keep my pants, at least get em dry cleaned for me.. kk thanks :p

I'm not sure I want to know what you had for Breakfast...do I, Allen??LOL ;)

Sorry, next time I will Fed Ex some for you. :) I hope you are feeling better soon! My oldest is having his party that day, too. THey are making gingerbread houses. Good luck with the car. :)

The car has a new muffler.....:D Now I don't know when he's coming home..can't tell the boyfriend to leave..lol. J/K

Going out with another mom to get the stuff today when we drop our kids off at school. I really shouldn't but need to get it done, plus having chinese buffet for lunch...:D MMMMMM chinese, will try not to go overboard.

Do you guys have any non-christian kids in either of your schools? The idea of my kids goign to christmas parties but not learning about other religions and displacing the other kids bothers me.

I really don't know what religion the other kids are, but really it's none of my business either. All I know is that there are going to be 3 games played with the kids winning prizes. They are also going to have food and drinks there.

lol i dont think crumbling bacon on top of eggs is exactly a "recipe"

Sure it is...

Eggs a la Wendy

3 eggs, peeled, cooked to taste
3 strips bacon, cooked to taste (at least crisp)
3 pieces of toast

1. Crumble bacon strips in a suitably sized pan.

2. Be sure eggs are wet, moisten if need be. Roll eggs through crumbled bacon until desired coating is reached. (I have no idea if this would actually work lol - but I'm sure there's a way you could get them to stick)

3. Cut out an egg shaped hole in each piece of toast, and place on serving plate. (You could also butter the part you cut out and place it on top of the egg too).

4. Put an egg in each hole and sprinkle the remaining bacon around it.

5. Bon appetit :)

Actually that sounds great if it was a soft boiled egg... Dang it now I'm gonna have to try it.

Every thursday, I take Victoria to playgroup - something I started. It's been going on for months. He knows that. Last night, he says, "I'm going to work at home in the morning so I can get the countertop installed and I'm going to need ur help." Meanwhile, I'm thinking he gets up to start working at 8. Here. At the house. HE gets up and is out of the house at like 7:15. I call him on his cell around 8:30, since I am supposed to leave in a half hour for playgroup, if he's not working at home. He says, "I'll be home mid to late morning." I'm thinking if I go to playgroup and he gets here and I'm not he'll be pissed. So I cancel. About an hour ago, I left the house to run to the store really fast to get a few things. I just called him. He won n't be back until close to 1:30. WTF??? Had I known he was going to be so late, I would have gone and taken Victoria and she and I would have had a blast with the other kids. Am I making too much of this?? I'm pretty pissed.

Rather than looking like an idiot too, I will refrain from commenting.

I usually keep my thoughts to myself on personal issues, but I thought I would respond this time. I think you are truly making a big deal out of nothing. Sometimes it isn't easy to leave work when you plan to do things at home. I am sure his goal was not to hold up your day or to make you angry. I think his goal is to redo your kitchen when he can find time in between working a full time job and being a father and husband. You have a very responsible husband and from what I can tell a nice family. I think you could benefit from writing about what is good in your life as much as you write about what is bad in it. Try to see that your glass half full and stop thinking about it being half empty. Being so negative all the time is hurting you, your relationship, and teaching your kids to be the same way. Perspective is everything in life. One trick I use when I am upset with anyone in my family is I think of 5 good things about that person. It also helps to take time everyday and think of 5 great things about your life, keeps you focused on the positive. I hope I haven't offended you, just trying to help you out.

There are few things I haven't told her. In fact, I told her things Tuesday that I have never told anyone. But you are right; unless I am willing to bare it all, there is no point. :) Thanks Jim! :)

Yummy!!! You know, that really sounds great! LOL There u go. Now when u eat that, you will have to think of me. LOL

LOL Sorry about that, Kiria. LOL

Well, another week, another THREE POUND WEIGHT GAIN!! sigh....I'm not complaining...just stating a fact. In January, I'm going to get majorly serious and cut out soda again and chocolate and all that ****. I will start Jan. 1st and see how far I can get by June 1st. WISH ME LUCK!

We both can do it together. I'll be your buddy with you on this. Too bad we don't live closer and we could exercise together...:(

It's not so much cutting out the soda and chocolate completely, it's the winging off slowly. Ok so I'm not the greatest person to say this, but I only drink diet soda when we have his son, everyother weekend, except for the fact that's all I drink that weekend, but during the week and on the weekends we don't have him, I drink tea or kool-aid...basically flavored water.

As for the chocolate, eat a little piece here and there. Yea I know, chocolate is the weakness. Buy the individual wrapped pieces instead of the big candy bar. When you think you must have a piece, there you go. It's easier than eating the whole candybar, individual pieces and you won't feel so guilty later. If you really want to go extreme and stop the chocolate, eat the baker's chocolate... OMG, that's the worst chocolate to eat by itself, IMO, but some people do like it and eat it.
