My Online Weight Journal - comments welcome

Huh??

Somehow, by the grace of God, I lost a pound this week. Not sure how, but by God, I'm gonna enjoy it. LOL

We got about 3 inches of snow last night! FINALLY it's beginning to look a lot like Christmas! Although, word on the street says we won't be keeping it. A warm up is expected. *sigh* I'm looking forward to the warm up, since with the windchill it's in the single digits here, but I want a white holiday, thank you very much.

I was good last night. Father-in-law invited us all out for dinner, and I had a chicken tender salad with only half the dressing they provided and a water with lime. :)

Tonight, however, I plan on being naughty.

Thats ok if you wanna be naughty, just don't lose my pants...

Ok I won't....oh wait....dammit....ur pants....where are they? Um....ok they are here somewhere....let me just look...**looks under bed**...hmmm...**looks in closet** don't worry they are here....oh yeah! I remember now! I wore them last night...LOL Here they are! Found em! They were right next to my thong. :D

ERRRRR...the site is slow, but whatelse is new?

At least you found his pants. Was beginning to think they would be a permant no find.

Tonight is homemade pizza with sauasage, pepproni, cheese, and possibly mushrooms. It's been so long since I made one, I don't want to screw it up since I don't know whatelse to make. I don't have a back-up plan... but luckly I went to the store today, so I can find something if need be.

Last night was baked porkchops w/bbq sauce, stuffing, mac and cheese. I didn't have seconds this time...:)

Oh yea, woohoo for the 1lb weight loss...:D

yeah this site IS slow today, whats up?

Wendy, wow woman, you have a lot going on in that head of yours! I'm sure it can feel like you are totally overwhelmed and want to just "throw in the towel" so to speak, so often. You have so much going for you and it takes baby steps to shift your pessimism into a positive thought. don't beat yourself up you CAN do it! I am leading a high school girls bible study right now with a book called "The Search for Significance" by Robert McGee. It is seriously GREAT talks all about self worth and what experiences in our lives have given us the "shape" we are (emotional, spiritual, social). It makes you really reflect on your past and find those key moments where someone might have said something, or a period of time a parent interracted with you positively or negatively, the way you socialized with a certain crowd etc. that made an impact on who you are and how you view life, including how you view yourself. You are the way you are because of a collection of things througout your life that has brought you to this moment. The key is to define those things, pick them out and wrestle with them one at a time. Of course it is a Bible study so the emphasis in my study is that God is our source, God (Jesus) defines our worth (because we DO have MUCH!) and its Satan who gets thrilled with the effects the world has on us like low self esteem ("you're just not ________enough"), perfectionism (I can never do______well enough), approval ("I want to be noticed and feel valued!") etc. From my point of view, he's having a wonderful time with YOU. I think your "homework" is a great assignment. Especially the recognition of needing approval (the whistles etc) from the opp. sex, or the flirting. SO important to recognize that before it can lead to something more tragic for your family. i'm really proud of you, and I know many others here are too. Stick in the game and just keep talking, its good!!

AMEN SISTER!

Thanks y'all! :) Nice to know I'm loved! :)

I'm really tired today. We don't have heat, so I'm not sure about working out..I would hate to get all sweaty and not be able to shower. LOL

Not eating too badly today...the worst thing was a mini apple pie. other than that, I've been doing well. :)

So much for not eating too badly...I just ate 2 slices of pizza, some chips and some diet soda. I feel soooo big. thankfully, I still have to work out, so I Can work some of it off. :) And perhaps later, I can work the rest of it off ;) lol

LOL...ok, no prying then. LOL

Had a killer workout last night! Felt so good!

B: 2 golean waffles with syrup; slice cheese

LOL..ok since you twisted my arm..ow ow ow

Friday night was the homemade pizza with sausage, cheese, pepperoni and half with mushrooms. MMMM it was soooo good. Ash and I had two pieces each (there went half of it) and Greene's son ate the other half by himself. Obviously it was good..lol

Saturday's breakfast was toast w/cream cheese. Lunch was ham and beans, fried taters, cornbread muffins. Lots of leftovers. That night we had steak, fried cubed potatos (cheese sauce to dip them in), mac and cheese while we watched the movie Thank You For Smoking. I loved friend potatos..so it was a really greasy day.

Sunday was better. For breakfast I made pancakes and sausage patties (only butter on panckaes and 1 pattie). Lunch was leftover ham and beans but I don't remember what I ate. Supper was chicken breasts with Italian bread crumbs, greene beans and mixed vegetables.

If I can just stay away from the ice cream, I'd be better off. Damn ice cream, damn damn damn.

That reminds me of the days I stayed over at my grandma. It was back in Indonesia and not all houses got water heater. We would wait until she boiled hot water and pour it into the tub for every bath (no shower there ^^; )
