Jackie's workout and diet journal

Wednesday 10th feb

Diet was good apart from 2 PB sandwiches with white bread lol, i need to kick this habit xxx

Thursday 11th feb

Diet has been good!!!

I worked out today as well.

So ive completed 4 workouts in a week, im gonna keep this up!!!

Right its friday tomorrow, so I will be food shopping after work, im now gonna make my list xxxx

A piece of bread is approx. 100-150 calories of useless carbs.

A tbsp of PB (or two) is nearly 90-180 calories of bad fat, some good protein and more useless carbs.

She is eating more and more of these PB sandwiches.

You've been easy on me and, quite frankly, I've been slacking off and I deserve it.

BUT YOU! You are working hard, working out consistently and EATING PB SANDWICHES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

:action9:

I will work on my diet this very moment and post it shortly in my journal.

Keep up the good work! (minus the sandwiches)

:sport:

hey thanks you 2 for the posts.

No PB has good fat!! its from the nuts (legumes whatever) haha its natural anyway.

Ive kinda had enough of PB anyway, so im not getting any this week,
I brought myself some tuna and a green bean salad to try last night :)

I will work out later.

Yeah i know bread is about 130 calories a slice - but i love it!!! damm stuff lol

Rule Free Eating

First of all keep it up Jackie - gogogo achieve your goals.

Bread is a bit of a poor diet choice (even for someone who eats grains) but if you cannot go without just limit the intake and keep to pre/post workout and healthier brown/seedy varieties if possible.

As for PB - I love it but only organic, that way you keep out nasty preservaties and too much saturated fat. You're right there is goo fat in there but give other nut butters a go too. Almond in particular is a good choice but more pricey. Could try making your own of course - not hard at all, just google it. (Roast nuts, blend them, add coconut/walnut oil, pinch of rock salt and you're pretty much there.

Never ever forget, you cannot out exercise a bad diet. Easier to get results by getting the diet right than by overtraining!

I don't eat bread or anything like that as I have been on a grain free diet for 4 months now - I don't miss it anymore and I feel so much better.

As for the peanut butter, I get mine from a health food shop. They grind it right there and then, fresh peanuts!

Hi jackie,

Hope you've been doing great...I have been working on my project a good portion of the weekend. It's so extensive that I need to simply it before I post it in my journal.

I am headed to the gym after work, it's my first workout on this project - I'll post my results after.

I gave your questions a shot in my journal, hope your going to take a look :)

Diet and exercise is like fuel and engines. It's no use putting regular gas in a diesel engine if you want it to work. So put some diesel in that cute little engine of yours and make those top abs appear :D

I suppose I can post what I ate for breakfast:

2 packets of oatmeal.
1 banana.
1 cup low fat milk.

My workout tonight will be:

10 min. warm-up
Sampson stretch once each side.
DL 3x20
BP 3x20
Lat. Pulldowns 3x20
Alt. DB Curls 3x20
Full body static stretching.
20min. interval cardio.

Considering the cardio and compound weight lifting I will burn, more or less, around 700 calories with this workout.
