Not sure there's really any help to be had there - if you want protein you have to eat foods with protein in them. Or am I missing something?

Your boredom with protein can by your mind and bodies way of telling you that you don't need as much.
I am convinced you are simply eating too much protein.
You'd be surprised how your feelings can be tied to your own bodies ability to give you feedback on what you do with it.
Give it a goCut back on protein and tell me what happens.
A good rule of thumb is 1g protein per lb of target body weight. Thus if my target is 170lbs, I want to have around 170g protein per day. Also it may be that you love carbs rather than hating protein.
Your so full of energy in your words that is it spilling onto my keyboard.
