I can't believe Thanksgiving is just 2 weeks away!!! Ug. I can be good two more weeks so I can indulge some that day.

yikes, agreed. My 21st is on the 17th too, thats going to be a rough weekend for weight loss, I definitely need something like this to keep me on track!

Obviously I didn’t want to clog up the main thread with this post which is why it is here. You will notice that I will edit my post so that there is nothing in it. The reason for this is because I am dropping out of the challenge. It isn’t that it is a bad challenge or anything I think it will help a lot of people with losing weight but it isn’t for me, not right now anyway. I need to get set up with what I am going to do, a plan that I can stick to before I dive straight into these types of challenges.

I just want to be sure that when the challenge is over I can stick to losing the weight, stick to a diet and a plan…to do it for a challenge is good yes, but for me the first step really needs to be me setting my goals and what to do for the week(s) that follow. I am sorry for any who are cross at me for this decision, but everyone works differently.

Don't feel bad. If you're gonna drop out, this is the best time to do it. That way you haven't let any team members down. Everyone has to do what's best for themselves, so no hard feelings at all. Hope to see you in the next challenge. :)
 
If my memory serves me right its to plan out and record our food intake and exercise at least 3 hours a week. but doesn't have to be done all at once.

You don't have to plan your meals ahead. You just need to keep track of what you eat--either in a journal or in an online site like fitday.com or sparkpeople.com. List what you eat and your calories. You don't need to post it. Exercise is a weekly total of 3hrs. You can do it however you want. I believe that is in the beginning of the sign up thread.

Yes, the bonuses are announced each week. However, I just posted that sign ups for the challenge are closed, and then you tried to sign up in the very next post. The challenge started on Saturday, and I said in the challenge idea thread that people would have until Sun pm to sign up. I extended it an extra day and a half. But it's closed now. I'm sorry, but you're too late. There are other challenges you can join at any time. There will also be another challenge starting up after New Years. HOpe to see you there. :)

Well, in order to get the bonus pts, you have to write it down, or log it online. The whole point of the bonuses is to do something you might not normally do. You don't have to post here at WLF, but you do have to keep track in some way other than in your head. :)
 
We've got 48 (maybe only 46) people signed up for this challenge. I hope you're all doing well this week. It's almost over. I'll post week 1's pt totals and top 10 people on Monday. So please log all of your week 1 stats by Sunday night. If you won't be able to do this until later, your week 1 pts won't get counted until week 2's end. You'll still get credit for them, they just won't show up until the end of week 2.

I'm sorry, but you're too late. Sign ups closed yesterday. There will be a challenge starting after New Years I hope you'll join. In the meantime, there are several other challenges you can join at any time. :)

A question

I was wondering if anyone else experienced a problem with the forum yesterday. :banghead: All day yesterday and this morning I got only a blank screen when I tried to open it. I hope the problem is sorted out now.
