Has anyone heard of the 18 in 4 diet ??

Day 3

I'm feeling pretty good! Last night I was surprisingly full after my dinner and I had loads of energy! I was wide awake at 8.20am this morning and that's unusual on a Sunday morning!

Weighed in today at 10st 1 1/4lbs. I've lost another 1 3/4lbs so that's a total weight loss of 3 3/4lbs in just 2 days. I'm happy with that. I've alot to do today so I'm hoping the energy level stays.

Oh yeah I'm not so keen on the Butternut Squash anymore it's just as well this diet only lasts for 4 days! I can do this!
 
18 in 4

Hi there I tried the 18 in 4 diet back i January and it worked for me, although I only lost 14lbs because I came off it during the forth day. I think I should tell you though that I was totally miserable the whole time, the food was terrible and everytime I had to eat the food it completely depressed me. I don't know who invented tomatoe juice but they should be punished.
 
Day 4

I can't believe I've made it to the last day I know it's not over yet but I'm sure I'll stick with it today after coming this far. The diet has just got easier day by day. The only thing I find really hard is eating the Butternut Squash it now makes me retch! I just swallowed my last lot down!

This morning I weighed 10st 1/2lb so that's a total weight loss of 4 1/2lbs on Day 4. Final weigh in is tomorrow yepee! I'll be over the moon if I get below 10st.

I've been food shopping today and got some nice wholesome food in. I'm looking forward to continuing my Weightwatcher's Points and going to the gym. The last 4 days have really helped kick start my weight loss. I'm happy to loose my last 7lbs over 4 weeks!
 
Hello all, this is my 1st day of this diet, I'm feeling very hungry but keep thinkingn "it's only for 4 days, what do I have to loose... the weight.hehehe". I'm a bit dissapointed that I can't have a glass of wine for 4 days, kinda helps me de-stress after a hard day at work... Any thoughts from any of you that had good success:nopity:?
 
Do you think a lot of this shit is spammers, since almost everyone that posts in this thread has less than 5 posts?

Or do you think there are a lot of fools searching this diet online and finding this forum, therefore signing up to discuss only this diet?
 
11 day diet

has anyone tried the 11 day diet, fat loss for dummies. I'm on day 2 and i'd like to hear some genuine responses

im 14 and i play hockey 5 days a week. i work out almost everyday. im 6 foot and 184 pounds. im not fat i just have a layer of fat over my abs and am having trouble getting rid of it. any idea's or comments?
 
I seriously doubt you'll get any... at least none for the positive that people who aren't promoting the diet for their financial gain.

We promote sensible, lifestyle change diets -not fad diets that you have to shell out money for.

at age 14, your body is still growing and developing -wow you're gonna be a tall one... and probably will drive all the girls crazy :)

At your age, I wouldn't suggest caloric restriction - as your body needs calories to exist.. However, you are never to young to educate yourself on eating properly... If you're a soda/pop drinker, you might want to give that up for water, and limit junk food (not give it up completely, as you're human living i the real world - but moderation... )

Talk to your parents or whomever does the meal preparation and grocery shoppingin your house... and tellthem what your goals are -you'd like to lose some weight by eating healthier (it won't kill the family to do that either.
 
im not very smart when it comes to like dieting, but do you think if i just keep working out and playing hockey the way i am and just chamge my diet i will see results with in a month
 
How would you change your diet?

Losing weight is a matter of using more calories than you take in... and given your age, i'm hesitant to tell you to cut calories too drastically.

I think if you're aware of what you're eating -limit sodas/pop - Limit sugary drinks - limit fried foods and "junk foods" Have fruits and veggies instead of fatladen snacks or cookies, and just pay attention to what you're eating - you should get results...

What you're looking to get in a month might not be realistic - but if you make changes, you'll be closer than you are today...

Well I'm delighted with the results. I weighed 9st 13lbs this morning. That's a total weight loss of 6lbs in 4 days, great stuff. My dress fits just nicely now.

I'm just about to go to the gym and I'm back onto my weightwatchers points (1550 kcals per day). I've another 7lbs to loose but I'm happy to loose 1lb per week now.

My opinion on the 18 in 4 diet is that yes it is a fad diet and yes you can loose alot of weight in just 4 days (I think someone who has alot of weight to loose could loose 18lbs on this diet) but really it's up to you to try and keep it off, that's the hard part. I will keep in touch weekly to let you know how I get on.

As for you two overly obsessed forum bullies yes, Steve and Maleficent. Get a life! You must have a seriously boring life to be constantly putting everyone down. You think we're scammers well do you know what I think, I think you two are either promoting yourselfs or working for this forum website just to wind everyone up! I've done the diet, it worked and now I can comfortably fit into a sexy new dress and enjoy a great night out, while you two sit at you're computers giving everyone abuse. I know where I'd rather be!

6lbs in 4 days...I think you will be a surprised, if you know what is the value of your fat body mass percentage before this diet and after...(and you body mass as well).

Thin mass loss could cause tissue flabbiness, muscular loss, metabolism decrease and, as a consequence, a further fat mass increase. In short, less weight but more body fat...and so on.


And you are happy with...

All kidding aside, I could not disagree more with that comment. I've been around long enough to see you try to help everyone that shows they really want to work for their goals and realize a few simple facts (i.e. has respect for whats been posted here before).

I usually butt in... this is a forum and she has as much right as she does to come at those two just as I do to respond... so I figure if this is how the conversation is going to flow I am a poster and can comment. If she wants to rebuttal she can... she won't make a valid point though, none of her posts have any validity to them.
