Didn't make it home before silence so I'll clean the cage tomorrow. Supervising Sir Kobold's playtime, feeling happy and accomplished. Can't wait to get to shower & sleep.
 
Good news: I did get auras at the gym but no achy migraine has arrived. I am clumsy but it could be from tiredness.

Took a shower, moisturized, brushed my teefers. Finished the portrait of Nera. Not 100% happy with it, but all works have to be finished eventually, aquarels when the paper can't hold onto any more layers.
 
I did have to look up Sir Kobold & I'm so far out of the loop, it's ridiculous. I laughed at myself though & that's not a bad thing. I have never watched Star Wars. :blush5:
I hope you are asleep by now. That gym session sounds insanely good :)

"Kobold", as I referred to Heikki, is an European fae creature, an earth spirit. Llama used it of Heikki and it stuck. I'm out of the SW loop clearly, as I didn't even know the word makes an appearance there!

Feeling anxious as I just Googled the kcals of my BK meal... 1350. I guesstimated ~1200 so not terribly far off, but yeah. Beating myself up: should have gotten a burger, not a meal. But I'll aim for 90 mins of aqua jogging tomorrow. Can't really burn out eaten kcals but increasing the CO part of CICO isn't entirely useless either.

Can't sleep. I can tell it's one of those nights. Got up and made coffee and will draw until I get too tired to do that.

Edit: had five almonds, a 50g chocolate lollipop and my minimum dose of long effect ADHD med. I ate a proper meal an hour ago so hopefully the choc and almonds are enough to ensure the med travels smoothly to my stomach to join the previous meal.

I just realized that it's almost full moon and the week prior I usually have cravings for high kcal foods. Probably hormonal. Won't mess with my long term progress.

I drew a comic about how it feels like to have a menstrual cycle as a guy. Just a quick thing, not my best work artistically but it works great for therapy. Also: I'm building up a portfolio of my therapy drawings so I can take it with me to the art therapist the trans clinic told me is going to interview me next time.

Drawing helped me wind down so I think I'll sleep or at least cozy up and rest.
 
I slept a little bit in the morning. Autism assistance person came at 10:30, I cleaned up Heikki´s cage and did other chores and had breakfast (a banana and my last bowl of beet soup). Gotta get a new batch of soup going today, but first I´ll have some coffee and go aqua jogging. Just for 30 mins, can´t overdo things while sleep deprived, but I´m happy nevertheless. Some headache, but I´ve decided to only take NSAIDs in an absolute emergency because I want to give my stomach lining a break!
 
Heck yeah! Rent & bills all timed or paid, feeling generally accomplished albeit dog tired. Going to empty the dishwasher and make myself a cup of coffee before heading out.
 
I didn´t end up heading out because I wrote a blog text; and now it´s too late to make it to the pool. With my pensioner card I have to be there by 4PM.

Hungry. I´ll have a banana and four almonds as a snack and get my next batch of soup started.
 
Next batch of soup is as follows:
- a pack of bacon, sliced
- three medium rutabaga, chopped
- a pack of cherry tomatoes
- 2dl of soy mince
- a can of white beans
- spices

Once it has simmered for 45 mins, I´ll add in 0,5 dl of bulgur, some smetana, and simmer for 10 more minutes. No minced beef in this batch, I need a break from it.
 
Had to cave in and took my NSAID. Migraine was so bad that muscles in my _face_ were rock hard. Not just jaws, but cheeks too.

Heikki already had his run for today so thank God I can just rest.

EDIT: good news though: I read up on NSAID induced headaches, which are possible as a result of NSAID use, and the symptoms don't match mine. So I woke up to the issue in time and this should pass soon 🙏
 
Dinner: small can of tuna, congee with sauerkraut

Edit: feeling ravenous so I also had a pear and five almonds. If I need to eat more, it's gonna be more pears. But hopefully I'll fall asleep.

I fell asleep and slept for 10 hours! Woke up with a horrid migraine but at least I'm rested.

Bible study group tonight.
 
You really must have needed that sleep! It sucks that you keep getting migraines.
