Floater's diary

Look at you indeed :) I think it is a very good sign xo
yes! Clothing/style _is_ a form of creativity, and my creativity is my best part, so it makes sense to focus on things that allow me to express myself.

Breakfast was a banana and four pecans. I slept really well. Had autism assistance visit. Today´s plan: make a casserole, go for a walk, move Heikki to his bigger cage. I decided that for now it makes sense to keep the two cages separate, because if I´ll get a new chin, it wouldn´t be the smartest option for Heikki to combine the cages now only to separate them when the new feller arrives and then recombine them if they get along.

I have zero motivation to cook but I know I´ll feel happy and accomplished once it´s done so I better get to it!

I wasn´t feeling carbs-y, so I ended making the casserole with three red bell peppers, a box of cherry tomatoes, three celery stalks, one tetrapack of chickpeas, 1dl of soy mince, 400g of minced beef, 400g of sauerkraut and a block of feta. I was a bit worried that the sauerkraut would make it too salty, so I didn´t salt the beef when I fried it before incorporating it into the veggies, and the end result is pretty much perfect. Will taste even better tomorrow and it made four portions yay!

I think I´ll walk to the city center and have my glasses adjusted; a nice 6km stroll on a rest day. I need to buy a watercolor palette, the art store is next to the optician. I´ll grab something to eat while I´m running my errands there. I´m thinking a sandwich and a small donut? Haven´t went to Arnold´s for a while. Oh and I´ll do the at-home STD test kit and drop it in the post box while on my way to the city center and after the results arrive, I can forget that FUCKING GIT. It was most certainly a lesson: I can´t be anyone but myself. And who I really am is, factually, the best version of me.

Cake donut, sandwich, and coffee. Had my glasses adjusted, bought a set of watercolors, and dropped the STD kit in the post box.

Check, check, check but also I took apart one cage panel off the old cage just to figure out how, and I´ll combine the cages as soon as there´s someone to look after Heikki or his sleepy and in his hidey hut and won´t try to make a great escape.

Casserole, a banana.

I should have bought bread. Need carbs. I'll start with a banana and make gnocchi with pesto if it's not enough.

I had a banana and 1dl of soy protein isolate mixed in water because I realized my day had been lower in protein than usual.

I may be autistic and mentally ill on top of that, but I have to say that getting into strength training/ casual bodybuilding has been a lifechanger. No matter how much I don't want to eat on some days, I know that restricting may feel like a relief in that moment, but will result in injuries, my autonomous nervous system going out of whack, and not being able to keep up with my gym and pool routines which then wrecks my everything because routines are everything to me.

Lunch: a portion of chicken. Bought groceries. Feeling exhausted. Will probably skip gym day today and go for a long walk instead because I´m not convinced I could lift safely being this tired. My muscles won´t atrophy from one extra rest day, but I only have one set of joints which I don´t want to endanger.

Snack: two rye bread sandwiches with marg & cheese.

I'm feeling out of this world anxious so I guess I'll take my short effect ADHD med and see if I'll get the executive function from it to go for a LIGHT workout at the gym

Cages have now been combined. Unfortunately, the higher one RATTLES. It´s stable, but taking out two cage panels makes the rest rattle. Tomorrow I´ll screw a few more wood panels on the cage floor and if it doesn´t help with the noise (chins can get rowdy at night), I´ll take the cages apart again and add one cage panel to both cages so they are connected by a walkway but more structurally stable than they are now.

Heikki showed his gratitude by peeing on my weighted blanket.

Dinner: casserole.

Lunch was beef and sauerkraut casserole, and I´ll now have a snack of chicken. I have three boxes of Cotton Candy grapes in the fridge, my favorite variety of grapes, as well as an opened pack of gnocchi I need to eat tonight.

snack: chicken. Might get chocolate if I go for a walk.
