Floater's diary

I had one M-150 energy drink before gym and one afterwards. They are about 100kcal each (68 per 100ml).

Now at home. Dinner will be an oven baked kimchi rice & chicken roll and a bowl of green soup

nevermind the rice is five days old and goes in the trash

Bad news: couldn't sleep. At 6AM took out the trash, realized even walking feels exhausting, and went back to bed. I managed to take a 1-hr nap but then start the good news:

Had a meeting at 9AM with the SMART translation coordinator. She was super nice and we agreed I have 12 months to finish the work BUT the deadline can be extended if necessary. She was pleased with my suggestions for translations of key terms in a way that deviates from the AA terms that are often used in healthcare and are pretty harsh language. We agreed that I can send her suggestions if I feel they need to be greenlit.

Went back to bed and rested. At 11.30 had a banana and meds. PEF measurements looking good. Next up lunch, then aqua jogging. I'll skip in-person Bible Study today and join online because insomnia worsens my social exhaustion. The autism assistance person will pick me up at the pool and I'll go grocery shopping with her.

As I've lost weight and summer is approaching, I used the night to go over my warderobe and see what items I lack. I ordered some long-sleeved stuff I can use to protect my skin from the sun. It's important for everyone but as I'm looking forward to FtM top surgery I want to make sure the area affected by surgery is in tip top condition (and afterwards the scarring MUST be protected from the sun for 12 months, strictly!). I also upcycled an old sun hat that looked a bit feminine by attaching little crosses to it so now it looks gothy and unisex.

Lunch: soup, bowl of mango, one M-150 energy drink

Went aqua jogging for 30 mins. I can notice that the lack of sleep is really messing with my executive function. I was supposed to go to Bible Study in person but I just can´t. Too exhausted.

Snack: protein shake, a 0.33 can of Dr Pepper, some shredded chicken.

Went to Bible study. Made soup with chopped wieners, soy "fillets", veggies. Having one portion now with some pasta. Three go in the fridge for later. I´m apocalyptically tired. Hopefully I´ll sleep OK tonight. Money is going to be tight this month. That kinda sucks. Ill survive though

Dozed off while the dishwasher was running. Mixed the dry ingredients for savoury oatmeal in advance for tomorrow morning. Will need to eat before properly going to sleep. Also need to pack gym stuff for tomorrow. Empty the dishwasher... But I gotta rest for a minute. Kingdom for sleep...

Two rye bread sandwiches with Schwarzwald ham and a handful of almonds. Tomorrow's going to be a rest and foodprep day. Heikki will have to do without his run tonight because I'm too tired to safely supervise him.

Going without a run one night is definitely better than getting hurt. Hope you fell asleep promptly and are still under!

Nah I had to get up early to make it to my thorax röntgen and therapy, but I slept for 7-ish hours and I feel like a different person from yesterday.

Breakfast: two M-150 energy drinks while waiting for my röntgen, and a ham and cheese roll I had in the church café before therapy.

Lunch: a banana, one portion of yesterday´s soy fillet and weiner soup, one portion of fresh rice. EDIT and a small can of tuna in oil because I need to mind my protein intake!

Went for a short walk. Now having a snack of chicken and making soup with roasted cauliflower, asparagus, mushrooms, edamame, butter beans, snack lemons, white pepper, nooch, miso paste, jalapeno sauce, green chili, and a bit of rice vinegar.

Slept relatively well last night! My right eyelid looks inflamed again. It comes and goes when air quality outside is bad. Going to have bloodwork done, then aqua jogging. Brobably won't have time for a "proper" breakfast so I'll have a banana with my meds and eat something in the city center after the lab visit.

I also had some almonds with my morning banana. Bloodwork went well, kind lab nurse made my day. Had a ham & cheese toast and a coffee and a short effect ADHD med. Feeling happy and loving my new hat! Great for sun protection and I feel like a wizard lol. I gotta attach a chin strap to it though, otherwise the wind grabs it :)

Aqua jogged for 120 mins and swam a lap, had my protein shake, now lying down for a minute before dinner :)

Dinner: one portion of soy chunk and wiener + veg soup, a chicken and rice roll baked in the oven (1 portion of rice, 1 portion of shredded chicken), and a bowl of mango.
