Thanks, Petal, LaMa & Liza. Even well-behaved dogs are not welcome at most places in Australia, unlike our experiences in Europe. It's a shame really as they can really cheer people up. Archie makes most people smile.
I'll make sure I keep in touch while I'm not playing as I do have some lovely friendships from golf.
We are heading off for a few hours & will have lunch somewhere that welcomes dogs. We had to change direction as G left his phone in his golf bag & we have to go retrieve it. (150 km return)
D & the kids will be staying tonight & we will have them during the day tomorrow as he's working all w/e. It was short notice. Hopefully, they'll all stay at D & T's tomorrow night as it does get a bit tiring, especially when we have to drive them home on the Sun. (80 km return)
Tues we are going to a crayfish lunch at a friend's house. (120 km return)
Wed G is driving down to Hobart to bring R & his dog back here & as much of his stuff as will fit in G's car. (480 km return)
