im so incredible shy
its hard to trust people
and especially after things
that happened

todays food--
2 cups cappucino soymilk
3 cups pea soup
1 everything bagel with mac n cheese loaf meat

im so incredible shy
its hard to trust people
Sorry to hear that, but I understand.

For what it's worth you don't seem to be shy here, and it appears you trust us with your thoughts. That's a start.

i know its a bad time for everyone
so i feel awful and kind of stupid
for my concern
im not used to this extra food around
i had to mostly buy a day or 2s worth
but now theres alot here
and idk how to eat it
in terms of stretching it
how much ppl need just to survive on
im not talking about starving on purpose
or anything
i just mean because idk when
i can get anymore
im not into the 3 meal a day or
plate pattern way of eating
just basically a few meals a day
(though it never turns out that way)
i have cans of vegetables
cans of meat
peanut butter
cans of soup
cans of tuna
some soymilks
some nuts
a little bit of frozen fresh meats
how do i spread it out
im hearing that we need it until
end of summer
and that the next stop is we cant go food shopping
for a few weeks
because ppl arent social distancing enuf
i know there can be rumors and misinformation
but i still need to stretch it somehow
for at least a month
due to my own circumstances
but how
whats normal
its hard when u have disordered eating to
know whats reasonable
especially with no feeling of fulness

Hey Blue, good that you have a supply of food. Can you just make a written plan as to what to eat and when? Might be a way to control it.

Best of luck to you in this stressful time!

I think Rob is right that putting things in writing would be best. Look at the labels, write down how many calories you have for the month and try to divide things up evenly. Of course it won't be the perfect, balanced diet but if it's the best you've got that's all you can do.

yesterdays food--
2 cups soup
4 tbsp p butter

todays food--
2 pepperettes
2 cups soup

i wanted to add some exercise
but the normal swelling i get in warmer weather
has began
shortly i wont be able to get shoes on
but i did get gifted a very big pair
for xmas so im hoping
to wear them when the
ground dries up a bit
my legs doubled in size too
at least its not something new
lately im just glad to wake up
and that i have food and a roof

venting--

the hardest part of this for me
isnt even if i got the virus
and i hear its awful
but when your a fearful person
mostly afraid of everyone
and used to never shopping alone
its hard and a little angering
even tho i understand the ys of it
its hard when in the lineups
and my family that im with gets to
go in but i cant
or vice versa
so i or who im with just stands
inside the door to wait for the other person

and i read a article of store ppl being bullied
well i cant judge but some of them
are bullying customers too
ive seen it and its ridiculous
and a power grab

thank goodness i was fortunate enough to
hopefully get some stuff until maybe this boils over
or ppl taking advantage of their perceived power
calm down a bit
because some rules are not laws
they just arent
and ive seen ppl getting mad about it

so onto some healthy nice days for everyone

and just to add
i am respecting the rules
so hopefully my post doesnt sound otherwise

This situation has brought out the worst in some people but I am concentrating more on the good. Hopefully, our world will emerge a better place. Like you, blue I am grateful for what I have. Take care xo

yes there is some good still
yesterday i was in a long long line
freezing hard rain pellets coming down
a woman with 2 kids and a baby
in line behind me
the man in front of me said he would trade
places with her
then when the other people ahead in line
saw what he did they all let her in to go
right to the front of the line

Hey Blue, that is a great story. I think I have seen a lot of people rising to the occasion and doing good. I have noticed the people I see on my walks are more friendly than usual. We always keep our distance but are more likely to talk and exchange greetings.

Hang in there, this won't last forever, try and come out better when it does end.

does anyone know if prices that went up
go back down when things like this end?
i noticed that some things went up
by 2 bucks in 1 jump

Haven´t heard anything about raised prices but I´m sure it happens. People don´t go round several stores to compare prices at the moment and some people will try to take advantage of that. And some products may be harder to come by, pushing the price up.
