I´ve had rabbits like that sit on my kitchen counter...
 
still here
just having some trouble
because of the ppl who ran out to hoard things
not thinking that sometimes others cant do that then
theres nothing left when they can go get stuff
ive heard ppl in the stores commenting
on this behaviour too
i will post next as soon as i can
i hope everyones ok

I agree, but I do have a good related story to tell.

Today my wife was at the store trying to find toilet paper for our daughter-in-law who had run out. The shelves were empty so she asked the cashier if there was any way to get some. The cashier pulled out two packages and told my wife that someone had already paid for them and asked her to hold them until a person who needed the toilet paper came along. So she gave them to my wife, the good Samaritan was long gone so my wife could not even pay, and our daughter-in-law got some free toilet paper. It was good to know there are such kind people left in this madness.

Blue, I hope you find such a kind person. And I hope you are OK, I am and thanks for asking!

Hoarding is horrible, Bluehat. :( I hope that soon good sense and community spirit will come to the fore in your area.

thats really neat
 
i havent been able to find tpaper for days now
no matter where i go or how often
im just using serviettes and paper towels

for food i found
soup, canned meats ,tuna cans ,a few pasta cans
vegetables gone in all forms but fresh
thats fine by me tho lol
 
I'm glad you managed to find some canned food, Blue. Online supermarket shopping might be easier than physically shopping for you when you need to shop next.

Hooray for fresh vegies! And now, more than ever, because they really do boost your immune system.
Can you tap into a neighbourhood support group, though, for groceries in general? Look around on the internet - there might very well be one.
 
good news
the nice person i talk about here
in my diary
went out with my cc
and bought a huge pile of things
in the limits the stores set
(we arent guilty of hoarding though)
she got me way better stuff than
i thot of getting
im working on eating the fresh things first
like the bagels and cold cuts
and freezing the fresh meat
im so lucky
and thankful
and continuing to hope everyone is ok

but im afraid to go near anyone
i did catch something
but not IT

i do have running water
and access to washers here
and now they only let 1
person in at a time
so its a little more tricky
but doable
 
I'm really glad you have fresh food again & wish you had more nice people in your life.
