todays food--
1 sub before drs appt.
very bloating
too much food or liquid pushes
on the tube inside
next time i save half for later

i did get to go to a store yesterday
be4 my appt
whew
i was paying for the ride anyway

turns out i didnt get the help i
needed so now my budget gets cut
into even more and its always food
budget that gets hit
so back on OMAD

but
on the other hand i found out that
the surgery is aug 16 and the
painful tube comes out 2 weeks
later
yay then i hit that bike
:hurray:


just have to get thru the time now
walking to shop cause theres no more
to pay for shopping rides with
 
Yay for surgery being soon & the painful tube coming out soon after that. I wish I could just magic you some nice, healthy food into your freezer! Don't overdo the walk to the shops as you don't want to jeopardise your operation :grouphug:

when i know
and have known
for a long time now
do i continue
eating ANY other foods
but VEGETABLES
when they are the only food
i never overeat or binge on
why do i continue when i know better?
whats wrong with me?
what do i have to do to stop
getting fatter?

i reads somewhere that we are slaves
to our tastebuds
this is so true

whats it going to take?

Maybe better cooking skills to make those vegetables taste good. I love my veggies but in restaurants they're often treated as an afterthought and so they're gross.

i walked to the store
for the first time since i decided
to do the shopping that way
(first time after the trial walk there i did)
it was pretty hot but ...

there is a way i like veggies i forgot about
well its mainly salad but thats supposed
to be good?
the bagged ones with all the little
goodies in little bags and the dressings
there are so many to choose from
with seeds n cheeses n different things
and range from 300 to 600 calories
a whole bag which is what i would eat

so i picked up 4 while i was there
and a little tired and sore
but thats supposed to be normal
with the tube
its coming out next month
thank goodness
im about to go crazy
its been in since march
but at least no bleeding lately
yay

i really like the apps that track the food and activity
and i have lots downloaded
its just that i end up having to put my own
calories and things in
its hard to trust what the apps say
they are never what my labels say
and right now i have no activity to put in
but i have found those to be satisfactory
its motivating to be able to see
that i did my bike
and 1 app i found even has leslie sansone
in it to log
i cant remember which app cause i havent been allowed
to exercise since march
but i plan to do some of her videos too
so soon i have to find that app
im so looking forward to doing some exercise
even tho it is said to be 80% diet 20% activity

todays food--
2 cups sunflower seeds
1 pepperoni n cheese panzerotti
1 diet sprite
3 cups water
1 coffee

i made a mistake again
i let myself get roped in by the mean
person
and im feeling horrible about the
emotional abuse (but at least that kind of abuse is an improvement over the other ones)
but i worked too hard to go walk to get the
salads (and spent nearly 5 bucks a bag)
i cant give in to the bad urges to toss the salads
but im afraid its coming
i fear whats going to happen next
but being in the apt all the time from being unwell
i have no distractions
the other ppl are doing things
like work and such
so im on my own
i think they will probably be tossed
 
Have you tried relaxation techniques? Practising breathing, guided meditation, or even just daydreaming about nicer times might take your mind off things. It often takes a while to get good at relaxation stuff but then it can be really helpful.
 
Depending on what else was in that sub (veggies) those things can actually make reasonable meals. I just can't stand the pseudo-bread they use.
