Thanks. Yup, I was determined to have lots of protein this morning and I will try to include lots of it for lunch, too. :)

Yes, keep trying to get good amounts of protein, hows the complex carbs holding up in the equation? Good Fats? Keeping a good ratio of complex carbs/simple carbs in the diet could be one element in reducing the lower body fatigue lets not forget. If carbs are too low, Protein can be converted to energy by the body.

Chillen - oh God, now you have me thinking about complex and simple carbs!!! YIKES!!!! :eek: I know there were a couple days where my carbs were low, so that could have been part of it. I'm feeling really good about myself today, so I hope my run will be a good one.

Hey! Beth whats up?

You look pretty lean right now, and there are other ways in addition to a defict diet to tweak body fat down a bit more, but your already lean, so I think keeping a good ratio of complex carbs can help reduce some fatigue. Carbs are the body's "primary" source of fuel, and if its low it has some side effects (ie fatigue, depression, to name only a few), and can hamper performance. Source are: Oatmeal, Brown rice, whole wheat pita bread, etc.

Post workout, add some simple carbs from various fruits or a combo, with some protein if you wish. I think keeping your carbs at a good ratio (not to high, but enough), will do wonders for you in the next few days. Having a good ratio of good fats, good carbs, and protein (not to mention water) will assist recovery............ROCK WITH IT!

Yeah, right now, my carbs are at 111g or 39.1%. I'm afraid to eat too much bc I don't want to go over cals right now (I'm already at 1103 for the day), but yet I want to make sure that I get more carbs in me.

I did 4.5 miles tonight and it was so good! :D Once again, at the end I was able to increase the speed. In fact, hubby came up behind me with the truck and he clocked me at 11mph!!! It was only for a few feet, but still!!! I was a little concerned as about half way thru I began to feel a bit weak and jittery, my hands were shaking and if I had stopped, I'm sure my legs would have been as well. But I pushed thru it and I did it! About 2 mins after I walked thru the door, it starting to pour LOL.

I should sleep well tonight (I hope!). 'Night y'all!! :)

Thanks to one of my kids peeing in my bed last night, I woke up at 6 with a wet pantleg. :mad: So, I ended up just getting up at 6:30 and getting showered and dressed for the day. :mad: As nice as it is, I'm still sleepy. LOL

VENT:

Ants. I am about ready to burn the house down. Just when I spray and think I've gotten rid of them all, I find more. Lots more. I have some crawling on my desk in front of me. It's really gross. I can't imagine where they have come from!!! I watched their "parade" yesterday and thought they came in near the woodstove. But I thought I got them all yesterday...I even vacuumed the damn desk!! :mad: Hmmm....looking around, it seems they like my stairs....perhaps it's time to drag out the vacuum and Raid again.... :mad: I hate the smell of that stuff. LOL

B: 3 eggs, slice of bread (wheat, of course)
 
Not sure what part of the country you live in, here int eh south Fire ants are an issue.

But sounds like you ahve "sweet ant issue" what they do is they ahve a "scout" that flys to find the "sweets" food and then drops it's wings, then sets a trail back to the Ant nest, some sort of secretion, anyway, they follow the trail to the food source.

you need to "track the trail and destroy it fom outside of the house to confuse them.

a little Bleach cleaning should do the job, Also pepper or red pepper ( Pepper is a natural poison)

Used to ahve this issue when I lived in NJ. I'll take the sweet anys over the fire ants anyday

As Beth sits being Sweet the ants Beat Feet to Meet for a personal Treat on the desktop Street, because they know Beth is the Sugar Beet, and they will not Retreat to Beth's spayed Heat, as the ants want a window Seat in her living room Suite, and this is no trick or Treat, as they feel so....Incomplete.

Like a Sheet they create their own Swimming Meet to view this White Heat and will Compete in this Fleet while you bask in the sweetness Seat.

Everyone knows, Im Whacked. I must deliver additional produce to this effect :)

Chillen - as always, you made me laugh!

I have come to a conclusion. Perhaps I am just making an excuse or perhaps it may seem like I am giving up, but here it is, nonetheless. I am no longer going to freak out about what I eat. I will not stop eating as clean as possible, and I sure as hell won't stop working out. But if I have chocolate, I won't panic. If I want a treat meal/day then by golly, I'm gonna have it. No guilt. No pressure. I'm 131lbs. I'm 5'3.5. I think I can finally say (and believe) that I look pretty damn good for someone who has 3 kids. I don't need to be a stick. I'm a good person. I'm beautiful. I don't need to go crazy over protein and cals. My weight doesn't define me.

MY WEIGHT DOESN'T DEFINE ME!!!!
