I tried taking a picture and the site is telling me it’s too large.
of course there is no standard, but typically when you send a picture from your phone it will give you a choice of resolution from very high def down to email-able size. do what i do when i have a smart-phone question... find a 12 year old to explain it to you.
re: Victrola... that is what i thought your record player would be. funny how music reproduction has evolved. for instance with speakers, first, one (monophonic), then two (stereophonic), then four (quadraphonic), then as many as seven or nine.... and now we're back to one... except in my car where i'm not sure where the sound comes from anymore.
most of my vinyl is over 40 years old so i'm fairly careful with playing them. i know most would be very hard to replace. and when i saw LP's were fading out to newer tech, i invested in the best turntable i could afford at the time. a good investment back then since i recently saw one sell for about 3x what i paid 30 years ago.
Victrola in manual doesn't give too many stats, but the ceramic cartridge (vs magnetic) probably indicates a fairly high stylus pressure. diamond vs vinyl, the diamond is always going to win in the long run, with records it's just a matter of how long. the benefit of modern systems like yours, however, is probably the easy possibility of simply recording a record and if you want to beat the song to death, play the recording over and over again. save the vinyl for special occasions.
most of all, have *click* fun *pop* ...
