Dont worry,Omega with all the water you drank you will have a big loss soon. You are doing amazing.Happy easter.

Happy Easter to you too. I knew that I would be punished at the scales when I went out on Thursday night...

I certainly prefer my 0 pounds lost weighing that I got today to the weighing that I got yesterday... I was a full three pounds higher yesterday than today...

My Saturday has been a max points day. :biggrinjester:

I have had my 3 litres of water

fruit - apricots (3 tins), grapes (1.5 cups)
.... I have also had pear juice and pineapple juice...

Veg - piled high as part of my roast lamb dinner
- carrots, swede, parsnip, cauliflower, broccoli, onion

exercise - 1hr salsa lesson plus outdoor walking - pedometer got to 20,146 steps

Thanks for sharing that link, Omega! It definitely made me feel good about exercising today!

So I got all of my points, but today was still a really lazy day for me. And I slipped up a bit...there was Easter candy lying around and I had definitely more than I should have! Also haven't been doing much besides running some errands. I feel a little guilty...but I will not let it get to me. My legs are pretty sore so perhaps they could use some rest. :)

Kind of looking forward to Easter brunch tomorrow...my family is pretty good about having lots of healthy options. (Of course there are plenty of unhealthy options too!) Getting my exercise in might be tricky, but I will certainly try! I may split it up to 30 min in the morning for a good hard walk, and 30 min in the evening for a cardio class.

Happy Easter, everyone!

After everybody posted, here is your scoresheet - looks very good. You were also the first time that had all members report their results! :)

I'm sorry, teammates. While I got my fruits (strawberries, grapes, and a banana) and vegetables (lettuce, corn, tomatoes, cauliflour, and green bell peppers) in today for 5 points, I've flunked on the water. My husband is out delivering some car parts or I'd get in the pool. Maybe if he gets back early enough, I'll get another 30 minutes in as swimming (I did 30 on the bike this morning). As far as water goes, I've only drunk a little over 2L today. Maybe I can also squeeze in a couple more bottles of water.

So that makes only 8 points so far for me today. I'm really going to try to squeeze in those extra two points before the night is over.

EDIT: Awesome. I pushed to get that extra 30 minutes and two bottles of water in and it's 11 PM here. So tack on two more points.

31/3/13 I have had my two serves of fruit and one serve of veg so far went for a 45 min walk in a conservation park near my house, two litres of water down one to go bring on full points again, well done to all on our first week lets win this challenge

Whooohooo!! Well done team. We are doing fabulous! I know I let us down on the exercise but I have decided that from the 1st of April I'm gonna get this butt in shape!!! So I will then contribute to the points there.

Well that looks like a brilliant first week and fantastic Saturday to me!!!

Well done for pushing things up to max points...

I must admit that I was still drinking that last litre until well after 11pm at night - but we got there just the same and that is what counts...

GREAT job team! Happy Easter!

It is just before 9AM here and today is already off to an awesome start for me! Yesterday I was not very good with food...at a bit too much. I thought today was going to be quite the struggle getting my exercise points in...wrong! I woke up at 7 with so much energy! Not only did I want to go for a walk, I wanted to jog.

So I just got back from an awesome jog/walk. The morning is absolutely beautiful here. I logged 4.702 miles in 1 hr 6 minutes!! It felt soooo great to jog a good amount of that! I can't wait until I can jog the entire way! Woohoo.

I have just started my water, but will have no problem finishing it. All fruits and veggies will be taken care of with breakfast in a few minutes. So looks like max points for me! I feel amazing!!!

2L of water. 2 points
No exercise. 0 points
I had my fruits (apple and banana) and one veggie (lettuce) so from what I understand, that's only 2 points for getting only one veggie.

So 4 points for me :( I'll be back on the ball tomorrow now that I'm home and not sitting in a car all day long.

Belinda - well done for getting what you could. You are right - the 1 veg means that it is 2 points. In these challenges tomatoes and similar foods that are botanically fruit because of how the seeds are but are eaten as vegetables count as vegetables... If you do not like the vegetables you should blame me for forcing San to eat lots of vegetables back in a challenge in 2009. Until that point she was claiming that she didnt like vegetables - but simply needed to broaden her horizons as she simply couldnt remember having tried an awful lot of vegetables...

Vegetables are a really healthy thing to eat as they are filling and low in calorie... Not only that - but they help to keep us safe from a whole heap of nasty ailments...

A cardiologist that we know says that you want to see a rainbow on your plate - basically look for as many different colours as possible.

My Sunday was good. Another max points day. :)

LOL I had three chocolate sweets and have gained weight today - but am hoping that it will balance out in time as the calories will not have been high... In honesty - the weight gain would be down to having eaten a little away from my standard repetitive food plan as we went out in the car to walk in the grounds of Paxton House up in the Scottish borders...

Because it was Easter Sunday the shops were shut in England (which make great places for toilet breaks if I am out walking) so we decided to go to somewhere that we could get into with our HHA cards... HHA (Historic Houses Association) is brilliant for affordably walking in nice surroundings as you pay to be a member for the year and then can go as often as you like to a whole heap of stately homes and other really nice places to walk... If you go walking often it ends up being a fraction of what you would pay in individual visits... The treadmill is out of action until the electrical work is done to the house... The healthiest thing that I could eat while I was out was lots of fruit...

fruit
5 apples, 4 pears, 1 tin apricots, pineapple juice, pear juice
veg
carrot, cabbage, cauliflower, broccoli, leek, swede

water = 3 litres (I was still drinking it late at night but I got through it in the end)

outdoor walking (pedometer got up to 15,680 steps)... Sunday tends to be a lower step day for me as it is a day with no dancing or zumba...

Half an hour bike ride then 15 mins on the weights then a 20 min walk with the dogs, all my veggies done, one fruit to go and one litre to go of water for full points, bring on a bigger weight loss this weekend

Today should be better for me. I'll get my exercise in later today when my husband gets home. My daughter is on spring break so I'll be watching her and the puppy all day this week. Meanwhile, I'll get my full water and fruits and veggies in today while cleaning up.

Veggies - check
Fruit - check
4l of water - check
Exercise - will be checked in about an hour!
