Weight-Loss WLF Team Challenge - TEAM FIRE

Weight-Loss
Well I managed a whopping .2 pound lost this week. I'm 324.0. I did get full 14 points for exercise and 21 for water.

I have .5 liter bottles of water for field work and I have been having between 6 and 8 bottles a day so I get my water t work and I always have water before and after work. I estimate that I have 10 liters of water some days. When the hot weather hits I'll be near that most field days.

How did everyone else do? Go team Fire!

Looks great everybody. And the points for exercise and water are much more important than a massive weight loss. Not saying that losing weight isn't nice - I wish I'd lost more this week as well, but hey...there is always next week!!

We seem to be missing the majority of our team at the moment though....still need updates from luzdafuzz, MandyH, Transparent and Zynische. Update those scoresheets, peeps! :)

That mini challenge is perfect :) I got 14 excersise points. I also got 20 points for water :) I only got a 1 pound loss this week. It is harder to control eating when Easter is coming up, but I am working on not overeating. I am also eating lots of fruits and veggies :)

Mandy, I slightly corrected your score sheet. You put 23 points for water down, but the most possible points for one week are 21. The additional two, which I am guessing were from today, count towards next week. :)

San, you are correct! Sorry about that. The way I highlighted my sheet I included today in that week. I've already fixed it so it won't happen again. Sorry for the delay in updating the scoresheet. I was busy playing at the beach most of the day. :)

No worries! :) And playing at the beach sounds nice. I've been staring out the window, looking at snowflakes. Even if we had a beach anywhere nearby, it'd be freezing cold there!!

Our scoresheet so far - obviously we're missing somebody, so it's not entirely accurate, but we're doing good!! :))

I figured I should stop by with an update.

Saturday: Got my water and exercise points.
EXERCISE: Walking on the beach for most of the day.
FRUITS/VEGGIES: Found out about the mini challenge too late to try it.

Sunday: Got all of my points.
EXERCISE: Tae bo.
FRUITS: strawberries and bananas. VEGGIES: Potatoes and tomatoes.

Monday: Got all of my points.
EXERCISE: Walking for 1.5 hours (I know I can only claim 1 hour.
FRUITS: strawberries and oranges. VEGGIES: Garden salad (romaine lettuce, tomato, green pepper, cucumber)

Tuesday: Got my water points.
I had a death in the family and I didn't have it in me to try to get my exercise and mini challenge points. I'm going to try today.

I've gotten max points on exercise, water, fruit and veggies every day so far. Today marks the first office day in a long while. I may take a rest day or I may ride my spin bike this evening depending on how bad I hurt this evening. I'm feeling pretty beat up this morning.

I hope team Fire has a great day!

Bundybrad has come up with a new mini challenge for us. It's 15 sit-ups per day for 2 points per day, and 'drink no calories' for 1 point per day. :)

Hey Team!

Sorry for not being around much - I have come down with a really bad cold, and am currently battling an ear/throat/sinus infection. It's making me feel lousy, but I am still trying to stay on track as good as I can. Weight should be shifting as well, since I haven't been eating much recently, but we all know that it doesn't always do what we want it to do. So well...all I can do is wait.
Somehow I have the feeling that 2013 does not really like me all that much......:(

Anyway, it looks as if everybody else doing really well, and I'm proud of you all!!! :grouphug:

I'm heading over to update my score sheet now. I did pretty well with the bonus points, but unfortunately my weight is up. I made a lot of unhealthy decisions regarding food this week. It was a tough and emotional week for me, but I'm looking forward to getting back on track starting today. Powering through this.

This week's stats for me
April 6th:
current weight:321.0
lbs lost:3
% lost:0.9%
exercise points:10
water points:21
mini-challenge points:35
total lost: 3.2 lbs
total % lost: 0.99%

I took 2 days in a row off from ex following my field work. That was needed. I'm pleased with my loss.

Feeling energetic today!

Exercise and water points looking good today, so are challenge points for the situps and no calories in the drinks... feeling great today, full of energy! I'm finishing my water and in a few minutes I'm headed off to do my second exercise (walking)! Tomorrow night is my niece's wedding but I should be able to do all the challenges and points. Today is also the first day I am really watching what I eat. Until now I was just getting the swing of doing the water & exercise, and last week's challenge, but today I am eating carefully measured amounts.

Hey everybody, just a quick update - we have a new member, as you can see - goonfairy. Welcome to the team!! :)

I am removing luzdafuzz, since this is the second week she hasn't updated her scoresheet, or made any contribution to the team thread, which leads me to believe she is no longer interested. I'll update the scoresheets tomorrow to reflect the changes.

Hope everyone is well. Unfortunately I am not, and while I have managed to stay up to scratch with my points so far, I am not sure if I can keep up with the exercise part much longer. I am on my second crash-course of antibiotics and am having severe side effects, so I'm struggling a little. Will do my best not to fall behind though.

Sorry to hear you're not feeling well San, hope you get better soon.

I've finally finished that project at work and handed it over to the next level. Hopefully this will mean less work, and more time to devote to my health. I know that sounds like a cop-out, but when you have a project with your superiors asking every little minute for this and that, it gets stress, and when I get too stressed I eat, and it's usually found in the dessert aisle. So here's to work going back to normal, my eating having some structure since I will not be here one minute, there the next, and my exercise being down at the same time in the morning instead of whenever I can fit it in. And most importantly, I will be able to keep up with my logging and posting at better periods instead of every other day or sometimes only twice a week.

Hope Everyone on Team FIRE had a GREAT weekend and looking forward to this week.
