So no exercise, but I did do my 30 pushups?? is it 20 or 30 because I can't remember so to be on the safe side I was doing 30+.
It is 20 - so absolutely no need to do more than 20 for challenge points.
As it happens - I forgot to do my 20 pushups yesterday... It was a busy day and I clean forgot...
I did all my walking though and brought in my calories and nutrients at the right level so it wasnt a dead loss... Just not going to earn me maximum challenge points...
I can most definitely sympathise with both
Transparent and
Quercus regarding working long hours. I do not work now - but in my younger days I did more than my fair share of it... I will always remember my time working for Credit Suisse First Boston investment bank on Canary Wharf in London. I worked excessively long hours there... We had to put in a holiday form when we wanted a Sunday off... The worst we ever got was a project where they wanted me to do 22 hour days... They did not give me enough time to get home and get back so they had me booked into a hotel which was a 2 minute taxi ride away... Somewhere to crash for 2 hours before doing it all again... We begged them to take on more staff - but they just kept saying that someone new would not know their computer systems...
The human body is not made to work in that manner - even work which is mentally exhausting without the level of physical exercise that some people like
Quercus does.
LOL I retired aged 43 and havent been able to face the idea of working since...
LOL I earned good money - but it never did me, my health or my weight problems any favours... I simply ignored my health and my health problems just got worse.
We all get to a stage where we have to put our health first.
People can enjoy aspects of their work and can enjoy the financial benefits and kudos that a successful career brings... Indeed - I think that it is normal to define ourselves by such things...
When you get to a stage when you can devote more time to your health - I am confident that you will. I am proud of you for keeping your health in mind sufficiently in difficult times to come in here and earn what points you can.
