Hi Chip, I am in UK and we measure in Stones as well as pounds/kgs. 14 pounds to a stone, so I am 88.4 kgs, or or 194.8lbs, or 13st 12lbs 8 ounces ! :)

Wait....but muscle is denser so it's heavier too...

Hee...this tread is interesting and I think I need to poke my nose in abit and comment on something too..:)

Sometimes I really think weight scale can be misleading especially when one is trying to loss weight.

That's simply because "if" you do change your diet and also begin working out, you could possibly put on some lean muscle mass in the process too.

This would result in you "weighing more" in the process..

You might be dropping some weight (fats) but maybe it's slower than the rate at which your lean muscle builds up.....it could literally increase your weight though.

So for myself, when I used to weight 88kgs about 12 months back, I like to weight myself as well as using the "bio-impedance" body analysis machine at the gym I join to cross reference...

Hope this would add some value to this thread ya..:)

fairly annoyed about this last episode as I have been particulary "good". Even to the extent of going to bed early so I dont eat late in evening, which is my weak time! ah well least its going back down again.

Chip you have done SO well, dont let a slight fluctuation get you down, your downward trend is very impressive. A tiny blip is not worth worrying about, let alone calculating!
