Weigh Yourself Everyday (or frequently) Club

November 1st : 233.4 lbs
November 2nd : 234.2 lbs
(0 days without a binge)

Not the start i wanted. My dog had a seizure at 11pm and i just couldn't sleep afterwards. Ended up eating alot to make me feel sleepy and got to sleep probably around 0230am.

7/30 - 198 lbs
...
10/31 - 185 lbs, pre surgery weight
11/1 - 188 lbs
11/2 - 189 lbs

A little gain, probably due to post surgical edema, swelling, just water. Not a lot, after hernia surgery I gained about 15 lbs due to edema. It stayed on for about 6 weeks and then suddenly came off, the quickest weight loss in my life. It will probably continue, after surgery my body continues to swell for several days. Don't like the swelling its making me stiffer, but just part of the healing process I guess.

Sorry to hear that, I know you dog (Tyke, I think) has had problems before. How old is Tyke?

Definitely getting stronger. I started slow on workouts and adding a couple of reps as I improve. Last week was harder. This week is super easy so adding 2 more reps to the workout next week.

*Writing* I get so excited for Nano to start and then nothing. I freeze up. Starting is the hardest part. I'm going to try and knock it out of the park today.

He's 18 and 8 months old so about 1 million in human years lol! Yeh he has dementia and arthritis and has a seizure about every couple/few months or so.

Good for you Tom! It sounds like you are doing it right, starting slowly but making real progress.

10 days without binge, not food to be proud of the last few days but not a binge

I am a bit confused about the loss, not eating real well and doing zero exercise. That combined with the post surgical swelling has always meant weight gain in the past... Oh well, things could be worse.

Good for you!!

That's not a typo! Had the mother of all binges yesterday, pizza, chocolate, biscuits, etc. 24 hours later I think I still have 3 lbs worth of food still in my stomach!

I think its probably more than that in my experience binges cause great water retention. More carbs to soak up water. I have noticed that after a binge I urinate less for a day or two. Anyway the good news is it's over and you can move on. If you do most of that water weight will go as well.

Oh, and I think you are a brave man to weigh and post right after a binge like that. I have a hard time weighing or posting when I am where you are right now. I am trying, its been my experience that the posting helps stop the binge cycle and sometimes reduce the volume of a binge.
