We had a little bit of rain yesterday afternoon and it cooled down to 82F quick. Last night, got down to about 77F. I was cold lol.
82F and rain sounds nice! It's 95F here and will be until next week.
 
If i'm hungry and i'm atleast 1 hour away from a scheduled meal i will nibble a small amount of low carb food, usually nuts or cheese or chicken, and have a cup of water even if i'm not thirsty. The hunger then usually subsides for a bit.
I too had extra food yesterday, a few plain biscuits. Deffo not a binge or anything, just extra.

Yeh building muscle is a good idea but apart from 2 times i've not exercised for must be 1 month now.
Yes a lottery win would be great :D i used to do the lottery...i would take sub 200lbs for now though!
So you've been 254.1 for a few days now...atleast you aren't going up. You can push through it to go lower.

I feel like it and plan on doing a lot of stuff today, so we will see how tomorrow goes. it is cool enough that I want to work outside some. I'll sweat, but it won't be as dangerous or unbearable to do so. Sub 200 would be great. If nothing else, my corpse will look better.

Even though I weighed the same (2 out of 3 times it was 254.1), the scale was trending lower. The other number was 252.5. Usually, if the scale is trending lower then I will lose and if the scale is trending higher I will gain providing I don't do what I'm supposed to.

I just got to stay the course. I sweated a ton yesterday.
 
I'll jump in. I have a full diary, but this might be helpful as well. I'll start with all my weigh-ins since June 1st. A few notes....

I'm 5'10" tall, 53 years old, and have lifted weights and gained a fair bit of muscle in the last year-ish...ideal weight is probably around 175ish.

6/3-6/7--family trip to Niagara Falls and a family camp in upstate NY. Had little/no control over what would be put in front of me, and time at family camp was bored eating all-you-can-eat. Scale up 8.5 pounds in that short time.

Traveled to see family down in Georgia for July 4th weekend...again no options..ate what was in front of me, and a lot of it. Scaled went up 5 pounds in one long weekend.

7/11--started posting here at 204.8lbs and the accountability of this group has helped a ton!

7/30-8/6--family beach trip...we had a house with a kitchen..cooked almost all of my own meals, was able to exercise well and also get in a beach walk almost daily..scale down 6ish pounds in that week.

Current weight is lowest since May 22nd.

Last time I had two consecutive days under 190 = March 27-28, so that'll be a nice milestone to hit.

My ideal weight and goal is similar to yours, I want 168lb, but under 200 would be great and a major milestone. I was doing weight resistance training but have slacked off the past month :sneaky:

yeh that trending suggests you are gonna weigh lower very soon. today i'm-

Saturday AM : 241.8 (-0.2)

It was a good investment buying high precision scales, I can now see small changes (hopefully downward changes) in my weight, which helps to motivate me.

I ate a few extra calories yesterday to see if the scale would budge today, but not such luck. It wants to. It almost steadied at 253.7, but then popped back to 254.1. So it is still trending lower. Maybe tomorrow. Sometimes it is like this. I'll go for days the same and then bingo down 3 lbs overnight. Whatever. Have a great day all!

Weighed 194.8 this morning. Friday is my least active day (only day of the week with no scheduled cardio,) and I typically go up a bit on Saturday mornings, so nothing unusual here. Long run is Saturday morning and I'm almost always below Friday morning's weight by Sunday morning.

Woohoo, -3.3 lbs for the week. I'm shooting for 2 lbs a week. Not sure how accurate all of the numbers are yet. The deficit showed 1.93 lbs, BUT. And there are a couple of big buts. 1) The website I use, shows that lightly active (which I am calculating on) is 15-30 minutes of exercise 3 times a week. If I take the max of 30 minutes x 3 that equals 90 mins of exercise. Even if my exercise wasn't perfect or below par, I still recorded 213 minutes of exercise and that doesn't include stuff like spending an hour on housework, which I did several times this week or walking the property and picking up trash and so forth. Minutes spent only include focused activity like going for a walk or yard work outside like sweeping the street, mowing, weed eating, trimming limbs, etc. 2) My current formula is Deficit = (BMR + Activity Level) - Calories Consumed. I don't eat extra calories based upon extra exercise perceived or real. My goal calories (while I do varying from day to day) is Goal Calories = (BMR + Activity Level) - 1000 (2 lbs a week).

I'm happy. I'm down -10.3 lbs so far from a high of 263 back in June, 3+ plus pounds the last 2 weeks in a row, and a loss of at least something the last 4 weeks in a row. Last time around, I started at 268.8 and got down to 243 (for a day or two), then bounced up to 245 and stayed around 245 for 5 months. Hopefully, things will be vastly different this time.

Main Goal - Maintain my calorie goal average while varying my actual calorie count each day so my body doesn't get used to the same thing. That's why my calories bounce up and down. Everything else, I'm trying to keep fairly the same except for temperature. It can go down anytime it wants to!

On the subject of weather the heatwave here in the UK has gone, it's 75F. I think it won't get hot again here until next year.

I ate a few more calories yesterday on purpose. I didn't even enjoy it. Now, it's business as usual the rest of the week. I'm having a slight issue and trying to get things moving along - constipation. Fiber, fat, and water. Not sure what I could be missing. Anyway....

Now for the local weather forecast. Hot and miserable again this week, but next week looks promising with highs in the upper 80's and chances of rain each day!!!!!!! Over two months with no rain. Ugh.
