Yup, it is weird how the body does. You would think after a binge, it would go up. But not always. 243 is the lowest I saw dieting last time. If I can make it to my 230's I'd be thrilled, but will settle to get back to the 240s for now.
I think you can make the 240s, you're doing well recently. You're only about 5lbs away, keep doing the right things and it's a month away tops. My next mini goal is 237, because that is below 17 stone (I see each time i drop below the x stones marker as an acheivement). I'm 6lbs away. Wanna race :D? You to the 240s, me to 237?

I can try and I would like to race. I can't guarantee anything though. I'm drinking a lot of water like today I'm up to 109 oz. I'm notorious for retaining water, but I know if I maintain my calories I'm still losing weight regardless of what the scale says. Last time, I made it to 245 and stay around that weight for months. I would to get to 237. But for now, 249.9 is good enough. Let's do this!

edit: I have markers to. I use the 5 pound and 10 pound markers like 245 and 240. Those are milestones. So 255 is a 5 pound marker for me. So I'm down a total of 8 pounds so far (from 263 back in June). I just gotta watch the calories and sodium and then if I hit a plateau come up with something to keep moving downward.

Nah, I live in Texas. Death Valley's Temperatures are 110-115 this week! It is way hot though. This is our third hottest summer on record and no rain for 2 months now.
Do you have aircon? I've only ever been to 1 hot country, bangkok thailand, aircon was common there. Our forecast is now predicting 95F from wed to sun :cautious:

no my ultimate goal would be around 175. Really anything below 200's I'd be happy. It's been forever. One thing about this illustrious grand prize for the winner, it keeps me motivated. One time this lady at work poked me in the belly and called me the Pillsbury dough boy. I immediately lost 20 lbs. Another time, someone bet me a rubber band and I lost weight. it doesn't take much for me to get motivated, but it does help to have a motivation, otherwise I don't get anywhere. I'm pretty motivated now. I get hungry a lot though.

in the U.S, most homes have central air and heat, where there is one unit for the entire house. I live in an older house, so we have window units. They are cheap and not very powerful and when it gets this hot, they can't keep up. And the house is extremely drafty, like when the win blows hard my curtains sway. My room is basically only 10 degrees cooler than outside, so if it is 100+ outside, it is 90 something in my room.

It's coming down, good to see. You're ahead in our race now! i've done well today, definitely in deficit, i'm chasing u hard!

168 is what I weighed in the 10th grade. Some say that what you weighed then is your best weight. I'm competitive with myself, not necessarily with others. If I can do the best I can for me, then that is good enough. Doesn't really matter if I win or "lose". But this helps with motivation. I'm always wanting "to do" stuff with others, like we are a team working on something together. It just never happens so I thank you for this! I will do the best I can. I feel pretty "off" today so I may not exercise outside today. But I have been cleaning house this morning so I'm moving around some.

i was about 147lb in the uk equivalent of 10th grade, i'd take that now but won't diet down to that.

i'm the same weight as yesterday (may be i need scales that weigh fractions of a pound), i'm 243, have been that for 3 days now. i'm 1lb lighter than 1 week ago.

Edit: have just bought scales that weigh to 0.1lb accuracy they'll be here tomorrow.

No rain even though there was some all around us. It did cool off with the rain in the area though. Down to about 82 last night.

I was the same today. By all rights though, I should have been down. I drank less water yesterday. I think our scales are within 0.1lb accuracy.

My scales accurate to 0.1lb just arrived via amazon same day delivery, they're telling me i'm 243.2 which correlates with what my old scales were telling me. Slight issue is i nearly always weigh in early am, but i just weighed in on my new scales at 7.15pm. I'll weigh in tomorrow morning...i just hope i'm around 243.

I usually weigh first thing in the morning. Our floor is weird and we always have to put the scale down. It doesn't stay in place. I found a board to put the scales on (the floor is wooden slats and up and down in places) and weighed again this morning and it showed 254.8 instead of 254.1, so I'll see how it goes in the morning. We're going to give the new weighing a try to see if we weigh better.

Well, my new scales are matching up pretty well to my old scales. My old 1's have just told me i'm 242 (-1 on yesterday), my new 1's tell me 242.4. I'm going with the new scales reading:

We had a little bit of rain yesterday afternoon and it cooled down to 82F quick. Last night, got down to about 77F. I was cold lol.

Well, my new scales are matching up pretty well to my old scales. My old 1's have just told me i'm 242 (-1 on yesterday), my new 1's tell me 242.4. I'm going with the new scales reading:

I'm going with my new method also. I weighed this morning and it settled on 254.1 twice. So I'm going with it. It was cooler yesterday and I didn't sweat as much. I thought I'd be up this morning. So that's 254.1 three days in a row now. What do you do to keep from getting hungry? Yesterday, I felt like I was starving all day and ate some extra. According to the numbers, I'm still in good shape but still. I'm also going to see about trying to build a little muscle, but I have to watch what kind due to my possible hernia. So I'm going to do some research today. Because with everything going on, I've got to lose weight. And it wouldn't hurt if I won the lottery either.

If i'm hungry and i'm atleast 1 hour away from a scheduled meal i will nibble a small amount of low carb food, usually nuts or cheese or chicken, and have a cup of water even if i'm not thirsty. The hunger then usually subsides for a bit.
I too had extra food yesterday, a few plain biscuits. Deffo not a binge or anything, just extra.

Yeh building muscle is a good idea but apart from 2 times i've not exercised for must be 1 month now.
Yes a lottery win would be great :D i used to do the lottery...i would take sub 200lbs for now though!
So you've been 254.1 for a few days now...atleast you aren't going up. You can push through it to go lower.
